He was not an enabler because He Preached to them....do yo see the difference?

Do you think Jesus would hold back? He truly loved them with truth.

There are far too many preachers/teachers out there that have created such a casual image of Christ that it borders on profane.
Sad really

Jesus rebuked his own disciples ( @JesusLives ) which clearly demonstrates that He always dealt with sin, interestingly enough woman were the only group He did not rebuke...but He always maintained His authority.
But he was always there to preach. He didn’t stay away from the sinners.

Do you see the difference?

I have even preached to people in areas where the majority of people are Muslims. I have preached to my friend about what she’s doing and I have preached to people in the armed forces about Jesus.

Look, if you’re gonna criticize anyone for not preaching, please, address that speech to someone that doesn’t preach the gospel.
That is not what I stated, I am speaking to the standard given by scripture not what how each of us conducts ourselves, those are two different things.

But it is how each of us conducts ourselves that gets the word out to the sinners.

Contemplate that.

True, but that is side issue.

The entire underlying discussion is how do believers conduct themselves in the world according to the instructions in scripture.

I think the neuroscience study I previously shared (and the relevant references and links to other such studies within it) speaks for itself.

I guess you did not read the study then, since there is no mention of the respondents being from countries where homosexuality is against the law, and it was conducted by researchers at Northwestern Univeristy.

"26 heterosexual men, 28 bisexual men, and 25 homosexual men were recruited using internet advertisements on Craigslist"

So you have no basis from your assertion that people who are homosexual in countries where it is not tolerated is evidence it has an "organic" component and it is not even connected to this study.

And someone even agreed with your assertion and my rebuttal shows the lack of critical thinking skills in this post modern Christianity.

This does not even come close to meeting the criteria of a randomized selection....smh!

Under what circumstances one attends a gay "wedding" if at all...I think?
Susanna stated that she hadnt been to a gay wedding.
If she was actually going to go to one, I would be expecting her to preach to everyone there.
Ricky did go, but he didnt preach there. He went out of concern for his nephew.

This is how i understand it. What i dont understand is what susanna is arguing about when other people have stated their why they think christians shouldnt go to gay weddings. I think just accept that others may or may not go and their reasons may differ...but everyone should check in with God first about it.

So Daniel was in attendance at the sinner king's party but did not participate in the sin. Which has been my point all along, there is not necessarily guilt by association.

Not meaning to leave anything out. Kevin and Saul married out of 'love', no one was forced into anything and I'm not sure hwre that came from. The met at a job; Kevin was exposed to church in his youth, Saul raised Catholic, but I don't think he's saved. Haven't really gotten a solid answer out of him, but really getting gay married is a pretty good indicator they've rejected that.

For now :)

Kevin is 30, only child, father divorced and deceased. His poor mom is horrified but doesn't want to lose her only son. Kinda went to support her as much as anything else.

Does that help shed some light?
Ok was Keven always practicing gay or did he 'come out' recently. I think the thing here is hes Fatherless. Saul may be taking advantage of that. I know many gay men have issues with absent fathers, all the ones i encountered didnt have dads around growing up. How old is saul.

You’re basically saying that Jesus Himself was an enabler of sin. He went right out to where the sinners were struggling, sinning willfully or downright celebrating their sin.

Jesus didn’t hide behind fancy words created in an ivory tower, no Ma’am, He stood tall right amongst them to give them the greatest gift of all, Salvation.

We are called to do the same.
Salvation from what? What is the Gospel to you Susanna? Please share.

Without hearing the gospel conduct is not sufficient, I have seen many people conduct themselves with stellar moral lives.

The reason people came to Jesus is because they could see the love he had for all humanity. He showed his love with mercy, kindness, healing the sick and raising the dead. It was acts of kindness and love that brought people to Jesus.

The only time Jesus got authoritative was when the religious leaders were not doing things God's way. Selling things in the temple or not being merciful to the people they were suppose to be serving.... Jesus corrected harsh religious leaders consistently..
anytime Jesus is speaking in the Word of God HE is authoritative

Well this is just a scientific paper that says they are born sinners. We don’t need scientists to tell ANY of us that! We all are. I was born with the desire to sleep with just about all women. Because I have that desire does that make it ok to obey my fleshly desires?

So what if they are born with the desire to commit unspeakable sexual acts with their saw sex. They, like us, need Jesus, not to be told their vile desires are ok.
Why can't you separate politics and data? Nowhere in any of this dicussion did I, at any point,

It would seem science is reinforcing scripture once again.

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

Sin has a long term negative effect on our body.
Again a very small sample size, on males that have already involved themselves in that behavior.
