We are called by God, and prepared by God to do His Will here on earth. We all have a calling we are to be faithful to in our service of God.

Titus 3:14 - And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
Titus 3:8 - [This is] a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Hebrews 6:10 - For God [is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Titus 2:7 - In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine [shewing] uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Hebrews 13:21 - Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.
These "good works" can be many different things. And they are achieved through the power of the Holy Spirit who imparts to all Gods children the Gifts that will enable them to do these good works.

1 Corinthians 12:7) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8) For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9) To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10) To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11) But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
1 Peter 4:10 - As every man hath received the gift, [even so] minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
God has given us His Holy Word to teach, instruct and guide us in service to Him.

2 Timothy 3:16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
We must be loving and considerate when seeking to witness to the lost, and not drive them from Gods loving grace.

2 Timothy 2:23) But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24) And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25) In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26) And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
Jesus Himself instructed the Apostles, and all believers, to serve God and do the work of the Kingdom

Let us all strive to be true to our calling and to serve God with all our hearts, minds, and souls. Surrender all to the work of His Kingdom, and He will reward us greatly!
