Does the Bible not say, we are not to make any image of God?
Why do people wear cross ornaments? Does it protect the wearer from evil?
Why does the pictures of Jesus always have blonde hair and blue eyes? Can someone point me to the scripture that gives this description of Jesus?

First thing I thought of was the commandment ( 2 Corinthians 5:16) that as new creatures we are to know no man after the flesh (what the eyes see, hands feels or ears hear. He gives us new ears so that we might understand him not seen

flesh: yea, though we have known
Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we
him no more.
Some did know Jesus as the Son of man after what the eyes see the temporal but when he left he left a commandment... we are to know him after the flesh never again .
The law of equality among the nations the one Martin Luther King amongst others fought for . Jesus died fighting .His own led the way of haters .
The peace of God that surpasses our wrestling against flesh and blood, fallen nature helps us understand God is not a man as us.
I would offer if they are using them in that manner then they should not be wearing them .

They can be used as reminders but to commune with the unseen ,no way. then we would be making gods in the likeness of men as shown in Acts 14.
I think scripture describes Jesus as a ruddy man like David and not like the peoples choice Saul. But rather the one they hid in the field who smelled like sheep and kept spouting off his mouth writing songs to sing. They thought he would scare away Samael the judge as it seems it was God's choice as a Sheppard . Giving his life in jeopardy of his own spirt life for the sheep. He had no form nor comeliness; and when we shall
see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
