I can see the benefit of Phil 4:8

It as if I actually believe that it can happen and I believe that it's not too far away, as we see the possibility of riven praying with humble earnesty for Truth

Keeping focus on Jesus, does help

Well why do other people believe in it? If it's not there as you say.

If they could be wrong about that belief they trust with their whole faith, then who knows, you might be wrong about some thing's you believe too.

I think that if you set out to disprove an event, for instance the "Resurrection" and look at those who have researched this, both "for" and "against" you will be able to reach an objective non biased conclusion.

One always has to research both sides of an argument/supposition/premise to come to a conclusion.

I find it interesting that there are some agnostics/ atheists who agree the tomb was empty based on evidence yet they still choose to not believe.

I think you raise a valid point there needs to be a point where you yourself has to search it out and not just rely on what others state.

You know what Riven, I adopted doctrine years ago without really doing the research myself, I know very little for sure, but the doctrines I spent years researching I am pretty sure I am on solid ground.

I can tell you one thing I am sure of that is that God is Love.
