I'm not nullifying the miracles in the great tribulation for I believe this will occur, but what I'm saying is specifically, the Lord is speaking to His disciples in that passage telling of things that would happen shortly. The signs would cease with the Apostles and Israel's rejection of their Messiah. Once they are cut off, the Gentiles require no signs, but live by faith.
So basically, what you are saying is that you do not believe John 14:12 applies to you.
This is where we differ. I see everything Christ said applying to everyone who believes His Word.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

For us, and to those of us who would like to be His disciples. There were disciples then and there to whom Christ told would do the miracles he did and even greater miracles, and there are future disciples who would and will likewise do the miracles and greater miracles than those of Christs.

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

A disciple is a learner, so yes we can learn from scripture....however all scripture must be read with audience relevance first.
You will not carry a physical cross of this I am almost 100% sure.

A disciple is a lot more than a learner.
The cross is a metaphor for a painfull lifestyle choice as that of Christ's with many hardships.
The only way one would choose this type of lifestyle, is if they hated everything about their lives, including their family life.

Why do you want bondage when Jesus offers freedom?

I believe in Christ and am part of the body of Christ which includes many parts.
I, however, do not hate my life, and I therefore recognize I cannot be a disciple of Christ. This is me acknowledging truth, and the truth shall set me free.
I don't deceive myself by circling around the Word to find some way to believe a lie about me being a disciple so that I can see myself more than I am, and thereby being bound to a lie.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Whoever has taught this has not given you sound scriptural truth :(

We are not called to be disciples we are called to believe IN Jesus the Christ.

What about the following instructions to his original 12?

Matt 19:28

27“Look,” Peter replied, “we have left everything to follow You. What then will there be for us?” 28Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Sonof Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

John 20:23 “Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.”

They who leave everything to follow Christ will likewise receive a hundred fold more than what they leave behind (Matthew 19:29).

Matthew 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

You ignore those verses I quoted and prefer to talk about other verses? Obviously you yourself know that you won't be judging the 12 tribes of Israel right?

All the saints will be one with the Lord. As such, all the saints will judge the whole godless, and rule together with a rod of iron.
So to answer your question: Yes, if I am part of the body of saints, I then will be among they who judge the 12 tribes of Israel.

Christ also said that they who believe on Him will do the works and miracles He did, and even greater ones (John 14:12).
Is that symbolic?

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

I view Christ's Word as truth. This means we are all lacking in faith today. We are all double minded due to our carnal desires.
This is truth, I do not make up excuses to nullify the Lords Word.

Pray without ceasing to me means to pray every day or at least regularly.
That was my point....pray a lot or often. We can't pray...without ceasing...because we must sleep, eat, etc. Remember The Bible tells us at least 14 different times.......remember common sense....use common sense...apply common sense, etc.

You are skipping one of the 3 established bible study rules....

Take the Bible literally when it is at all possible. If typical, figurative or symbolic language is used look for a literal interpretation it intends to convey.

I can agree with your perspective to a point, as long as your interpretation does not then deny the scripture, and, or other scriptures which paint an entirely different picture.
All the bible which is Gods Word must support all the other scriptures. We just have to connect all these scriptures together to get a clear picture. Unfortunately, many prefer to cherry pick a few scriptures, and then form a perspective around those few scriptures, which in many, if not most cases, contradict many other scriptures.
I used the cherry picking approach myself many years ago, but it always bothered me knowing that something was wrong.
The cherry picking approach is from Satan, who provides us with his false illumination as to what is actually represented.

That powerless Jesus is a different one than the one I serve.
My Jesus is big and powerful and alive. He is the same one that walked the earth and Healed hundreds of humans no matter what pedigree. He is risen and alive and still saves and ministers through us with signs wonders and miracles.
There is zero in the bible that promotes a weak powerless Jesus that no longer heals.

Why did Jesus heal? It was a sign to the Jews that He was indeed the promised Messiah.

John 10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Can the Lord heal today? Absolutely, through prayer and fasting. He may choose not to heal, but the Apostles had the power to heal under the power of the Spirit, as a sign to the Jews.

True faith requires no signs but a belief in God's word.
