We all can do a little bit to improve our local environment, like plant trees and maintain nice landscapes. But man is not going to mess up God's plans. This earth as we know it will be here at least another thousand years, the last thousand being when Jesus has returned and mega blessings occur. Israel will be fully restored to their greatest land area, not politically, but according to the will of God already laid out for them.
Before that comes the great tribulation, which comes after the "rapture" of the church, when the wicked of earth will be killed off. A remnant of Jews and gentiles will survive the extreme heat and hundred pound hailstones, among many other curses.
The climate of earth is headed toward tribulation Judgment conditions. We will not avoid it. It isn't affected by us being spoiled with air conditioned homes and cars, or burning a piece of coal to allow us to leave the cellphone charger plugged in 24/7. The way Americans live leaves us far more vulnerable to an uncomfortable climate. I think spoiled Americans like me have been steadily less prepared for high heat and extreme cold variations. Many humans of the world deal with those continually without complaint.
It will be a bad seven years for the ungodly in the tribulation. Two thirds of humans will perish.
Then comes Jesus to earth, and a thousand years of blessings. Israel will once again resume enjoying their nation heritage. Here's that world according to Isaiah (unfulfilled).
Isaiah 11:3-12 (KJV)
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
Isaiah 65:17-25 (KJV)
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
Those describe our world stripped of sin. Happy things remain, and those of us who stick with Jesus will return to admire.
Those are promises from God. If you don't believe He can hold it together, then maybe consider going the way of the post-rapture folks that got left behind. It's a matter of believing the Bible, which shows us what to believe of the Lord Jesus, the Christ of God. Remaining ignorant, following the modern confused Demoncrats who think the world will end in 12 years, might guarantee you will share that terrible 7 years of horror. Instead, warn any of those folks you know, and live expecting blessings.
At the end of that thousand years this world will be tested with fire like a goldsmith burns of the dross. But burning the gold doesn't destroy it, only perfecting it.
