I would ask both sides to consider the question of "what if I am wrong?"

If I am wrong, then I've spoken foolishly, but praise God because He decided to act in spite of my foolishness and honor the prayers I foolishly spoke! When I stand before God and He says "tongues ceased" then I will have nothing but praise for Him for answering them anyway.

But - what about the cessationist who stands before God and is told by Him that tongues did not cease? What kind of praise can they raise in the face of not just failing to accept a gift of God, but in actively trying to take it away from others as well?

In all of these debates, we need to remember that we are fallible humans, and we need to ask ourselves "what if in my human nature I am wrong?"

No you judged.

You stated according to your interpretation of the word. People who do not speak in tongues are not saved.

At least stand by your own beliefs man, this is sad!
I provided scriptures that record what happened when people received the infilling of the Holy Ghost; they spoke in tongues. If you can provide scripture that state otherwise please do so.

There is no question, each person will be judged on what they saw and acted upon in scripture. That is the bottom line.

The word will judge all. Not me.

Did this really happen? Is there an actual video of this, or is this just hearsay?
If you can actually believe it, Wigglesworth's relatives and those that build him up to be this great Christian USE this example!!!!! I'll post it again:

Hi Rosemary. You can save yourself some trouble by asking about her thoughts on Pastor John MacArthur. You might also benefit from watching his series titled "Strange Fire".

there's the helpful video guy again

however, I already answered her

what you recommend is your religion but it is not Gods'

Mt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mt 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

Lu 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Lu 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

Stick with the word of God.

For the cause of Christ

I agree bro. I had her on ignore. Sadly I responded to a post. Then after out of couriosity opened all replies so I could see who he was responding to and saw it was her, and she had also by that time called me a liar and did as she usually did. To which it was far to easy to push back and prove it was not me who was lying, but someone else, of course I did not need to defend myself. I am sure most people know I was right to begin with, but Sometimes she just makes it to easy, and I can not let it just slide. But we will see, sadly I doubt it will change, all we can do is pray for peace in their souls.
and you are here ignoring me again. this is fun

and you are gossiping about me behind my back to my face because you think you have an audience

you do

thousands, nay millions, are looking down from heaven..that audience that Paul spoke of

Sure. It is claimed that after smashing the baby against the wall, and kicking the baby into the crowd, the baby was healed.

COMPLETELY unsubstantiated of course. But we don't even have to talk about the unsubstantiation, of the claim. If you think the Holy Spirit operates by throwing babies against a wall and kicking them off a stage, you are as deceived as I feared.

yes

ANYTHING but scripture

Humor?

Since when is LYING to be loved? (If she made a mistake thats one thing, but if it was just this, At least if she had true character she would admit she made a mistake, confessed, and moved on. But this did not happen.

It would be one things if she admitted her mistake. But when you have been shown to be a liar. And yet still ATTACK others. Instead of admitting your own sin, Something is seriously wrong.
if you make it to heaven, maybe you and I can discuss what you say about me

you will be embarrassed

I guess I have to forgive you in Jesus name so your bitterness does not spread in here. so I forgive you as Christ tells me to.

from the heart even. I don't want that root of bitterness to spring up and defile many

God bless you grateful. I wish you truly were

in fact...hugs in Jesus too! He still loves you even though you do such harm to His body

I do pray for you guys though.

disclaimer: none of the above means I will never respond to one of your posts though. I believe we should always be ready to give an account for what we believe as the Bible says...but nicely of course...without discussing people instead of the op

Ok, But that is one person saying he did, is there actual proof?

it appears stonesfire believes he did that by her question of asking you the end result. But I do not just want to judge based on someone elses words.

like building up MacArthur?

I don't suggest any kind of violence. I would follow Jesus' example..that is if I had the gift of healing. which I do not

which does not keep me from praying for healing for myself if I need it or others if they request it. after all, God heals

I do not

This is absolutely, completely Satanic!!!

To even justify this ...He should have be jailed.

Then to state Wiggleworth was discerning the 'spirits" and God was telling him to do these things

Beyond belief:eek:

I appreciate you bringing this to light Penn Ed...we need to know about these things as hard as it may be.

I guess I am ok then, since I do not think tongues has ceased..

And even if I did, Will God love me any less??
