How about a little perspective.... I responded to my first altar call when I was 9 years old in Cherry Point, N Carolina. But I had my spiritual epiphany staring down an M16 in Kuwait City... The enemy is counting on you to lay down your arms and say "let's make peace not war", that's why they're winning. Your enemy only wants blood and doesn't perceive peace the same as you. Your enemy actually believes that he is doing god's work!

The term billy or billycan is particularly associated with Australian usage, but is also used in New Zealand, Britain and Ireland.
It is widely accepted that the term "billycan" is derived from the large cans used for transporting bouilli or bully beef on Australia-bound ships or during exploration of the outback, which after use were modified for boiling water over a fire.

As the story goes
The title was Australian slang for travelling on foot (waltzing) with one's belongings in a "matilda" (swag) slung over one's back. The song narrates the story of an itinerant worker, or "swagman", making a drink of billy tea at a bush camp and capturing a stray jumbuck (ram) to eat. When the jumbuck's owner, a squatter (landowner), and three mounted policemen pursue the swagman for theft, he declares "You'll never catch me alive!" and commits suicide by drowning himself in a nearby billabong (watering hole), after which his ghost haunts the site.

Fair enough. You will note that there are three fundamental groups of temptations revealed in Scripture. They were presented to Eve as well as to Christ, and they are also presented to every Christian:
For all that is in the world, [1] the lust of the flesh, and [2] the lust of the eyes, and [3] the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (1 John 2:16)
1. Now let's see how this corresponded to Eve's temptation:
the lust of the flesh
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food...
the lust of the eyes
...and that it was pleasant to the eyes...
the pride of life
...and a tree to be desired to make one wise...
2. Now let's see how this corresponded to the temptations of Christ:
the lust of the flesh
...If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread...
the lust of the eyes
...all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them...
the pride of life
...He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone...

Truth!
I posted this once before but will do it again here. In a vision, I saw a huge snake. But, I put my foot on it's head and it became a small wiggling worm.
The enemy magnifies himself, and if we listen and heed that lying voice, we will be under rather than over, The tail and not the head. In Christ we are fully protected so put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and give no provision to flesh.
Heed our true identity which is the new creation man/woman of God. Spiritual, no longer flesh. The human nature with it's frailties, both physical and moral and it's passions. That is flesh.
