The Bible says that Babylon(Iraq), Medo-Persia(Iran), and Greece, shall never have physical dominion again.
The Roman Empire does not lose her dominion until Jesus puts down the world.
Mystery Babylon is not Islam, for Islam would never be the head of all religions, and the Babylon in Revelation is of the occult, evolution, and acknowledge no personal God, but honor the God of forces, or the power of nature as their higher power, something Islam would never accept.
Islam would never accept the Babylonian system in Revelation.
Also Babylon, the beast kingdom, will go against Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, for their belief in a higher power, a personal God.
Islam rebels against the world before the beast kingdom comes about, and they are plucked up by the roots, nuclear weapons, which that war will cause one third of the world to perish, mainly in the Arab nations, which causes the world to accept the man of sin to achieve peace on earth.
Which the 10 horn kingdom will rule, the world split in to ten sections with a leader in each section, and 3 of those horns are plucked up by the roots, which cover the Arab nations.
Also the new age movement is operating as a unified religious system, when the 10 horns is operating, and Islam would never accept the new age movement, which the new age movement paved the way to the beast kingdom.
The Pope wants the unifying of all religions, mainly the next Pope, so of course he will side with Islam, and he will also side with the other religions, for the Roman Empire does not lose her dominion until Jesus puts them down, so the Pope, and Vatican are involved in that.
And the new age movement interpreted all religions according to the occult, nature worship, and evolution, and anything taught contrary is not tolerated, which Islam is against the new age movement, and will not accept it.
The new age movement is the future for this world that paved the way to the beast kingdom, which Islam want nothing to do with the new age movement.
The Bible says in Daniel 7 that the 4th beast, the Roman Empire does not lose her dominion until Jesus puts down the world, and the 10 horns come from her, and the little horn comes from the 10 horns, which they shall devour the whole earth, tread upon it, and break it in pieces.
So how does Islam come in to play in that when the 10 horns shall devour the whole earth, tread it down, and break it in pieces, that is of the Roman Empire.
Plus common sense says why would Rome, or any European nation want to give heed to Islam, and let them control, and have power, for that is not how the world works, for they would want to exalt themselves for power, and control.
Islam is not going to over power Europe, and the Caucasian race, so why would they allow Islam to have power, and control, and take heed to them, for Europe, and America, has their own thing going on, and it does not include Islam, except to deceive them.
For they want to produce the New Age Christ, but do not believe he will help them to achieve peace, and cause them to evolve until the nations come together as one to try to establish peace on earth, which is why there is United Nations, and organizations for the harmonizing of religions, for you have to get the religions to harmonize before the nations will harmonize.
So the Pope is only playing Islam, and getting on their good side, for they are stubborn people, and would give them the hardest trouble, so that he can get the Arab nations in cooperation with all the nations.
But they do not care about Islam, and Islam is not going to have any power, or control, and they are going to fall before the beast kingdom comes about.
When the nations come together their plan is to attack Islam and put down their power, produce the New Age Christ, beast kingdom, go against the saints, saints gathered unto Christ, and then attack Israel, Jesus comes back with the saints and saves Israel.
