Melach, Jesus had just referenced the Temple in verse 2.....the Temple can only be seen as part of the Mosaic Covenant....I like your style btw...light is good

The LAW and the Prophets WERE UNTIL JOHN....JESUS said that....HE called his disciples out and they constituted the 1st CHURCH.....the building = nothing

Mr. dcon the law passed away completely when the Temple was destroyed....but we can put that aside for now.
Okay, in my Bible Jesus starts with the Temple in verse 2.....really He does go look...I really mean it, He did.
The Jews rejected their Messiah. This did not happen with John.
That is a bold statement building = nothing, not to the Jews it was not nothing, it was the center of Jerusalem life.

Okay...if what you say is true then the question of the disciples should not have followed after Jesus made the statement about the Temple, but He would have reference John which He did not.
I think the beast will rise out of the ashes of the destruction of western Gentile power with the fall of the U.S. and collapse of the petro dollar which is the world reserve currency....I also do not buy the current "ROMAN" involvement other than the fact that the false prophet is the last POPE of a unified Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox religion.....My view....the BEAST A.K.A. Anti-Christ is the 12th Imam/Madhi of ISLAM........and for sure....the use of the MARK is used for TOTAL control over what is left of humanity after WW3........

Nope......the LAW ended with JOHN as the last Prophet <---GRACE and TRUTH came BY JESUS CHRIST and the above post listing the Greek words and what they say is my view.....JESUS....I cannot get around JESUS SAYING the law and the prophets were UNTIL JOHN....
I will again state that even though in the ENGLISH it comes across as three questions it is NOT so....it was ONE question and the question was concerning JESUS, his BODY presence and the end of the age....

Hebrews 9:8 (NASB) The Holy Spirit is signifying this, that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed, while the outer tabernacle is still standing,
As long as the temple was still standing, the Law was still in effect, and man did not have access to the presence of God. Now, since the Law was in effect until A.D. 70, we know that it did not end at the birth of Christ or at the Cross or at Pentecost.
Jesus Himself told us exactly when the Law would end:
Matthew 5:17-18 (NASB) "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished.

Yes three questions is not the issue, I agree ...my contention is that the questions came forth after verse 2 the Temple statement.
WRONG WRONG WRONG......THE VEIL was RIPPED from top to BOTTOM with the death of CHRIST some 37 YEARS before the destruction of the temple.......
WOW.....no offence Grace, but you are missing a big chunk of the puzzle....THE LAW is only in effect for the LAWLESS and condemns MAN....it had NOTHING to do with the temple in JERUSALEM

AS a matter of fact.....JESUS even told the woman at the well that NEITHER in JERUSALEM and or Samaria NO ONE was worshiping GOD....we need to fully understand that the LAW and the Prophets ENDED with JOHN as far as a dispensation GOES....JESUS began a NEW dispensation which was ratified with his DEATH......

Yes I agree that the new age was started, however when I read Hebrews and Matthews as quoted above the Mosaic Law did not end until the temple was destroyed. It seems to me that one was ushered as the other was fading out...except one faded out with a BANG!!
