The tradition teaches that the Temple in Jerusalem was located at the top of the Temple Mount and that the Romans' Antonia Fortress was only a small addition next to the Temple. By studying the Bible and the texts of Josephus the historian, we come to realize that it was the Romans' Antonia Fortress, which was located at the top of the Temple Mount, and the Temple in Jerusalem was situated lower on the side of the mountain.

There's actually a lot about this on YouTube. Excavations in the old city of David are turning up some really remarkable things... But of course, the Israeli government has to keep it very low key. Just imagine how this all fits in with Bible prophecy if the original foundation of the temple is truly confirmed! :)

With all due care for all, the Tmple had to be constructed o the mount in Jerusalem by Solomon. David was forbidden to have anything to do with the actual construction of it.

God (Yahweh or Yah) chose Jerusalem for Himselff. Previously, inhabited by theJebusites, it wa called simply Urusalaim, City of Pece. When God chose it for His puposes, the name waqs changed to Yahurushalaim or, City of Yahweh's Peace.

Please do not confuse the true New Jerusalem compared to Sarah with the staging ground of our Father's will in this temporal place, the Jerusalem of this age compared to Hagar. All blessing in Jesus, Yeshua to all.

If you ae addressing me, I hve studied the Word for a half century, been to Israel to understand ccertain aspects of our faith better, read the Word in part in several languages, and in whole in English and Hebrew, and derived my understanding fromt he Word itself, and not from videos and articles by intellectuals.

I list what I have done only to stress I do know something about it before commenting. The Temples were all stipulated where to be built in the Word. If you go to another source for understanding it will be confusion and nto from the Lord.

Wrong! That's just an excuse! What they have found actually more accurately describes the biblical account... Look at it.

LOL... Actually, I would implore you to take your resume and go Beat It Against The Wailing Wall. "Not one stone will be left upon another" how does that fit into your high-minded understanding?

"Tradition" is not as authoritative as divine revelation. And according to the Bible, the location of the Temple was at the top of Mount Zion (also called Mount Moriah).

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. (Psalm 48:1,2)

Dogmatic adherence to tradition is also what crucified Christ...

Many things were intended to be kept secret until the end times... I believe the old city of David is one of those things. Israel is "shaking off its dust" ladies and gentlemen, be aware!

It is facinating, the excavations, however like someone pointed out, davids temple is not likely to be the spot of solomans temple.

Read the Word. The "old city of David" as you say is Hebron. David, himself, moved the capital to Jerusalem, you know, the city of Yahweh's peace, formerly inhabited by the Jebusites,. We go by theWord because Jesus is the Word. The text is nothing without the Holy Spirit.

Now where are these prophesices of secrets being reveale4d later on in this age? Show them to all from th eWord. I would be interested in redig them. It is odd that we are warned not to add or take away from the Word. It seems that is saying we already have sufficient knowledge directly from God.

All must bear in mind that the collected knowledge of mankind is his very own dogma. Theories are jsut that, dogma of science.

Theory science Dogma.... We know that the old city of David was completely destroyed, not one stone left upon another, buried over and plowed into a field. There was absolutely nothing recognizable left. But you would rather place your faith in a few stones that God missed...

David's temple was the same as that of Solomon's. David was given the blueprints and Solomon followed them to the letter. David was barred from building the temple hence it became Solomon's responsibility. And even after all that, Solomon became totally irresponsible.

Lol. This always had me, Not one stone will be left standing, yet how many stones STAND on the supposed wall?

Either god lied. Or that is NOT the temple wall.

Sadly, I fear the temple will be rebuilt and some day, a european leader will put an idle, (maybe of himself) inside the holy of holy’s. And people will still say its not prophesy.

Sadly that is correct! It seems people today would rather follow a political leader who claims to be spiritual rather than adhere to the only Word that has withstood the test of time.

Sadly thats what happens when you take literal events and make them symbolically fulfilled. You start to lower your expectations. And things such as this wall that has stones standing still can still be part of the temple. Because we are not literally interpreting the word anyway.

But then they can not see it. Jesus said not one stone will be left.. So what? should we symbolically interpret his words to mean a few stones will be left, But most will be knocked over? Or that Jesus meant what he said, and ALL stones will be knocked over.

It makes no sense.
