17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.
19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

A lot to think about there.
There aren't any people who don't hear from God.
God is very merciful.
God's wisdom and principles are built into everything he created.
His wisdom and his principles are a continual witness, crying out from everything around us, continually.
When a man goes to hell, God isn't going to say, "I sent you a messenger once and you ignored him."
That isn't what he'll say.
God will say, "I cried out to you day and night, every day of your life, every second of every day, from every part of creation... and you ignored it all."
..

Proverbs 24:17
Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles
Love your enemies - how can i love them if i rejoice when they fall? Love wants good things for the object of love. That they would turn to the light and be blessed, not remain in darkness and be destroyed.
Ezekiel 33:11
Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?

As it is Thursday 25th April downunder here in Australia - our ANZAC day - let us be reading and meditating on Chapter 25
There is an equivalency in the use of "king" to Jesus as the future king and ruler before whom we stand …
5 Take away the wicked from the presence of the king, and his throne will be established in righteousness.
6 Do not put yourself forward in the king’s presence or stand in the place of the great,
7 for it is better to be told, “Come up here,” than to be put lower in the presence of a noble.
… and Jesus himself referred to this scripture when he taught that the Pharisees and others sought the best places at feasts,
but rather we were to place ourselves last and at the furthest seats from the head of the table, so that the master of the
house could call us up to the front.

Luke 14: (ESV)
7 Now he told a parable to those who were invited, when he noticed how they chose the places of honour, saying to them,
8 “When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in a place of honour, lest someone more distinguished than you be invited by him,
9 and he who invited you both will come and say to you, ‘Give your place to this person,’ and then you will begin with shame to take the lowest place.
10 But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when your host comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher.’ Then you will be honoured in the presence of all who sit at table with you.
11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Friday April 26th = chapter 26
which seems to be all about fools, talebearers and the slothful.
how true is this verse ...
17 He that passes by, and meddles with a quarrel not belonging to him, is like one that takes a dog by the ears.
and is this a prophecy about social media?

wow what a gem of a chapter; its like every verse is a classic
2 Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.
5 Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy.
17 Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

Hi @umzza, I'm not sure if they've been mentioned yet, but these are the Proverbs that I seem to use the most (they're great ones to know if you're involved in a prison ministry, or something like that).
