No wonder the churches are in a state of ruin and apostasy if this is what is preached.

Here is the biblical way of dealing with alcohol abusers: REPENT or you wont inherit the kingdom. (1 Cor 6:9)

I have yet to see the "I am the righteousness of God in Christ!" work, its repeated and parroted by the pundits everywhere, yet we are seeing absolutely no fruit. We are seeing the opposite, we are seeing a national convention of Christian witches (Thats a real thing) and we are seeing apostasy and iniquity increase.

The reason for apostasy/iniquity and its increase is exactly what is being preached, saved in alcoholism, saved in adultery, saved in the very act. The minute someone brings up repentance in one of those bible studies, their character will be maligned, attacked and they will be discredited as teaching "works salvation" or "pelagian heresy". See its only the devil who would tell you to stop sinning in today's mainstream christianity, to say "repent" = evil, to say continue on in your alcoholism, maybe God will grant you victory Jesus loves you anyway = good. (Ignoring Ephesians 5:3-6 written to the CHURCH):

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. Dont let anyone deceive you with empty words and platitudes and philosophy and vain deceit, God's wrath is reserved for those who dont repent of alcoholism. I dont care what psychology nonsense the pastor is trying to feed you, God's word is clear. [Notice readers: It says be not deceived, just like in 1 Cor 6:9, because the Holy Spirit knew people would be deceiving on this very subject]

I have seen more people who were stuggling with these sins you keep judging get healed of these sins by finding Christ, Then by the many who tried but FAILED because they were told to stop those sins or else.

This is such a general statement yet not being specific, so pointless and without bite or
meaning.

Jesus knew how to say what He meant, because He knew His target.

39 Then the Lord said to him, "Now then, you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup
and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.
40 You foolish people! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?

The focus is on the failure to be clean from greed and wickedness based on wealth.

The accusation being made by EG is about thinking one is righteous and not being righteous.
But if there is no sin then they are righteous. And sin is in many forms, so you could at least

The point you make is obsolete. We are all far from being able to earn our way to being right with God. God reconciled us to Him by HIS OWN WILL. Not ours. What could man do to redeem himself. Except have faith in God and TRUST HIM COMPLETELY. That means FOLLOWING HIS WORD and DOING HIS WILL.

The above made me think of a person turning up in court saying the defendant was guilty
of a crime, except there is no witness, or charge or evidence other than everyone does wrong
things are some time in their life.

One would be sued for defemation of character and be found guilty. So to judge a believer
in this way without any evidence, is just bearing false witness, which is a sin that needs to be
repented of. Now many people fail, but unless we know precisely how it is up to them to confess
and we can speak generally, and the Lord will convict or we should be quiet.

And the question i ask why defame someone, unless if they were walking without fault it would
mean one was a false accuser and lost. Then the only real option is to attempt to defame the
other party, which in itself is sinful, so undermining ones credibility from the very beginning.
We need to let our lights shine and give glory to Jesus, Amen, God bless you all.

I dont claim to be righteous. Jesus taught no one is righteous but God. So why would I be foolish enough to think myself righteous.

The Holy Spirit who has made me a new creature has put righteousness in me. I am not righteous. I can only seek to live in Spirit and not my own fleshly desires. They war with eachother. Thats why putting off the old man is a daily thing.

The old me was a criminal. A gangster a whoremonger, an adulterer a drunkard, brawler, evil, full of ego and pride having no God. As Paul says which is what most of us once were. But we are now new creatures.
