As He Is Pure,

Sin is disobedience but Christ is there for our redemption.
We need to continue to repent and come to Him to be
cleansed. No one who continues to sin without checking
their conscience will ever really know Him. It is necessary
to grow spiritually, to sin less and to decreased the severity
of sin. It is our inner Spirit that God continues to forgive so
when our past sins are forgiven, they are forgotten. As it
says in scripture, there is a time to throw all past stones
away and a time to gather stones. This is meaning that we
forget our past iniquities and gather new and more gracious
understanding. In God, we will continue to grow, to live more
and to love more and to be more.

The only way to know His laws and commandments dince the advent of Jesus is to learn from Jesus just how they are to be understood and complied with. And YES we must constantly go to our Mediator to mediate our sin and keep us free of th eguilt of our transgressions.

If a person forgets to repent of a sin after GOD forgives them the first time when they got saved will they not be forgiven?

Or did you mean repent as In renew your mind?

repent in what God forgives is forever forgiven and
we don't carry that sin around again

I'm not sure what repent In what GOD gives means.
GOD gives Grace through faith.
