are you pure? have nothing, not one bad thing ?
or, could it be that this is a goal to aim at? or, it could it mean that we are not to let sin turn us away from God?
keep thinking that you can one day never sin again while still in the flesh. keep believing Jesus only forgives and does not save.
all self-delusional lies.
Let me paint a picture of your view.
Here is the most beautiful painting possible. But there is a fault here, in the corner, because this
should have been here and not there. So it is all worthless.
Now there is truth in some errors, which are sin, are foundational, but they need to be obvious and
very apparent, or else you are into just legalism.
Paul is describing in Christ we have knowledge of perfect love, working through the cross.
It is our hearts that need addressing and our walk. We need to resolve these both and walk, faultingly
at first, but eventually like Jesus did.
Now your point is to ask is there a fault somewhere?
And my response is as God convicts me through His word, and by His Spirit, then I know, but otherwise
I have a clear conscience and a pure heart.
Until you can see the picture God is building through His people, to the point of true perfection, you miss
it all.
And from your approach you believe this is not Gods purpose in the church even though He declares it
plainly.
19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but
fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household,
20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
21 In him
the whole building is joined together and rises to become
a holy temple in the Lord.
Eph 2:19-21
I cannot help anyone who does not know or experience change in their hearts, but many millions know
and rejoice in this.
And those who have unbelief in the way of Jesus, cannot know Him, as He calls us to the way, as this is
the way to eternal life.
45 "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
46 "Then they will
go away to eternal punishment, but
the righteous to eternal life."
Matt 25:45-46
