I remember in June of 2016 having dinner with friends saying I don't see how I could vote for this guy. Obviously I could never vote democrat, as both their candidate and platform were pure evil. So considered 3rd party or abstaining.
As the election drew near however, it became apparent that I had to vote for him, as the wicked media, the platforms of both parties, what Trump said he was going to do, and the utter disgust of the Dem candidate drove me to vote Trump. Now, my whole life politicians, with the possible exception of Reagan, promised things only to get elected. So, between his low moral character, and the fact that politicians lie, I was NOT expecting much, and certainly not good things from Trump.
I am ASTONISHED at what he HAS done in just a couple of yrs. In my view surpassing Reagan as the greatest President of my lifetime.
That is why i am truly befuddled by your statement. You are either lying about voting and supporting him, or are ignorant of exactly what he has been able to accomplish with very little Republican help and treasonous behavior by both Democrats and the media.
I'll link an article detailing a lot of them, but I'll highlight a couple off the top of my head;
* First thing he did, I believe on day one, was pull abortion funding to foreign nations.
* Scrapped Obama Gov web page on Global Warming, and then proceeded to withdraw from the awful Paris climate accords.
* Not one, but TWO excellent supreme court appointments.
* Scores of excellent appellate judge appointments.
* Forcing China to negotiate fair trade agreements
* Lowering corporate tax rate. This one is HUGE because it directly relates to our awesome economy. Companies are not only giving out raises and bonuses, but are no longer shipping most new jobs overseas.
* Lowering personal income taxes. Yes this HAS benefited most WORKING Americans.
* Full throated, accompanied by action, support of Israel, including moving our embassy to Jerusalem. Something every President promised, but failed to do.
* Almost the COMPLETE destruction of ISIS. Think about that Susanna. Get's almost no press, yet is GIGANTIC!!!!!!
* The LOWEST unemployment for Black and Latino Americans EVER RECORDED.
Ya know what I'll just copy and paste from the article. You may say "well what about the swamp" He has furiously drained as much as can. Getting rid of some of the biggest swamp dwellers.
