If one should not turn to mediums (Leviticus 19:31) and Satan can masquerade as angels (2 Corinthians 11:14-15) then how does one draw the distinction between people who see or hear angels or other spirits? Wouldn't that change some stories from the bible being that any angel or spirit could be Satan? Let's say someone experienced seeing something like that, how would they tell if what they're seeing is holy or unholy?
Because new prophecy as the word of God has ceased and God has added a warning not to add or subtract from the whole or the perfect . God has sealed up with seven seals the possibility of any new messages from the Holy Spirit.

Even when Christ was here he resisted all attempts to widen his authority, as it is written, by worshipping angels as false mediators.

The idea of out of the body experience , near death or I had a dream, as new revelations that some call private revelations as in mystics' as if it could add to the perfect .

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Mathew 4:8-10

People today who say they see or hear angels or other spirit . In regard to that kind of will worship , if the Son of man resisted worshipping an angel who brought lying thoughts in the fleshly mind of Jesus, showing Jesus all the kingdom of the world and all the glory of them without moving one inch. Therefore Jesus did not see by the faith that alone comes from hearing the will of our Holy Father in heaven . He refused to puff up his fleshly mind.

Colossians 2:18Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

The warning above applies today with people today who say they see or hear angels or other spirits.
remember along with the lying sign as a lying wonder God sends a strong delusion to those who refuse to hear His truths.

I dont think so, otherwise i could not understand that believers have no problem to believe f.e. Sarah Young and others. Ore have no problem to accept the RCC doctrine

Yes the foundation of the RCC is built on necromancy (seek) the things seen even when they disapraer ., which is another (false) source of faith other than all that is written in the law and the prophets (sola scriptura) the reforming restoring enemy of those who seek after the things of men seen.

It makes their idea of apostolic succession without effect exposing their idea that man is a DEVINE authority as the same one fountain of spiritual truth just as their oral tradition make the written traditions of God without effect. No man can serve two teaching masters.
And the 3500 and rising Pope approved patron saints as worker with familiar spirits fall like a stack of cards that were assembled as a tower. Their house falling with no foundation to build on. Having their foundation in respect to the things of men seen and not the unseen things of God (walking by the eternal faith of Christ.)

The OP poses an interesting question that has not been satisfactorily addressed here. I'd change the question to ask: "How did Abraham know that God was asking him to sacrifice Isaac? Why didn't Abraham just assume that God could not be the source for such a cruel request. More broadly, how did Abraham, Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, etc. know that God was speaking to them?
it doesn't really matter for us to know that. WE have the benefit to look back and KNOW that it was the Lord. The Messiah came through Issac.

So Satan would have wanted Abraham to go through with killing Issac. WE know that the entire account was a simile, or model, of ANOTHER Father, who WOULD go through with His ONLY Son being killed.

Everone who believes Jesus Christ has known this of the Holy Spirit in one manner or another. God has spoken at leaqst one time to all who are able to testify to Jesus Christ being God.

Faith is believing in things unseen…… It is a pirty when anyone only believes in what is seen for what is seen is all going to the fire next time

I see your point, but I also know that just because God gives us something, doesn't mean we'll use it.

You feel the energy. An angel has very high energy and so you experience emotions you never have before, but summed up love. On the other hand, a demon is a trickster so you'll see signs of it being incorrect. The energy is off, eyes are off, etc. It may be beautiful even, but you know something is not right.

You can test them as well. Demons only speak in lies. So if they tell you the future correctly they are a part of God.
I don't know were you get your beliefs about demons, but they're not biblical. The woman with the spirit of divination didn't speak lies.
