NIV 1 Corinthians 2:14 - 16>
14 "The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15) The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16) for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ." NIV
I am not a Jew. I am a gentile. Paul was the apostle to the gentiles. He was a highly educated Roman Citizen and a Pharisee. He knew the law backwards, forewords and sideways. He could have preached the law and relied solely upon his education but he did not. He talked about gifts of the spirit, faith and grace to the uneducated. He opposed the Judaizes who would have us circumcised in the flesh and preached circumcision of the heart!
We cannot understand the ways of the Holy Spirit through human education and dialects alone. The gifts of the Spirit go straight to the heart. They are not symbolic as with traditional water baptism but the discernment received comes directly from God.
Please remember most people couldn't read then and false religions were by far the majority. What Paul did was, to return us to the love, understanding and faith in the true God beyond what human teachers can do. He urged us to return to God and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Not in verses or paragraphs but something more tangible than words carved in stone. He preached circumcision of the heart. We are under a new covenant with the King of Kings.
To all who preach against that. Shame on you! The Gospel is not to be mocked or used like a bail bondsman. Remember God will settle the score. Our attitudes and hearts must be mended to receive our full portion according to his riches in Glory. Seek ye first before expecting to receive.

My friend, I do agree, that the guys here are not content with declaring their position and
debating the points of agreement and disagreement, rather it is a full personalised attack.
But this speaks to the spirit in their hearts, and their belief they are defending the Kingdom
against the "picts" invading etc. But they obviously see themselves as heroes, and winning,
but not quite sure what other than just creating slanging matches.

I do not agree with polarised views. We agree on a lot, but not everything.
It is not an us and them, though the mob and the ring leaders often create this feeling, it is an
illusion. My loyalty is to Jesus as far as I can see.
And this is only a discussion forum, no more. It is sometimes heavy going, but we also need
humour and stepping back from getting too personal about ideas that are quite abstract.

You try to stop the preaching of truth and want us all to hear your emotional feelings. You don't see anything wrong wit that?
You got to relax a bit. Truth and Gods word works no matter our attitude, but it is
the fruit of the Lord in our hearts that makes it fruitful.
I am just another forum member, sharing and trying to help, not an enemy or friend.
