Do you believe that the kingdom of God came at pentecost?
Then it will come fully, materially in the future to devour all worldly kingdoms?
Most likely Jesus meant the Kingdom of God came to earth at the transfiguration.
He said people would see the Kingdom come to earth who were alive when He said it.
In all three gospels the transfiguration happens with Peter, John and James on the mountain.

So Jesus was declaring this was the beginning.
It was quiet and a witness, that would only become important after pentecost.
At least this is my take on Jesus's own language on the issue

For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels,
and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.
I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before
they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.
Matt 16:27-28

You really don't know that Catholics preach infant baptism, and you don't know infants can't confess sins, repent of them, have faith and call on the Lord?
Well I can't help it if they have so much doctrine wrong (like infant baptism) as well as sin confession and contrition for sin (repentance misdefined) as a necessary condition for salvation.

Still you do realize that while you decry the reformers you align yourself with Catholicism?

Half truth and spins zones which are used to promost self and not the real truth.
You know....being in AU gives me a new perspective......many of these cainologists will come on late when most are in bed and rip them, make comments like he does about what we believe etc.....when no one is up to defend themselves.......half truths, twisted false gospels, skewed words, denied verbiage and context......and on and on and on and on

Well, that's a lie.

I think that, because the Bible teaches that.

Lie #2.

Agreed. We obey by believing the gospel. That's all the "if" required. To add anything else implies Jesus did not pay our debt in full.

That wasn't just a "special time". You are once again adding to God's word with your opinion. Show me the scriptures that Jesus only sealed a certain group of people for eternal security.

Then salvation isn't a gift, grace isn't unmerited, and our sin debt was not paid in full. If any of that were true, Jesus would have to come back and shed more blood for the remission of any sins not paid for by His first atonement.

That's your tired old "pay to play" salvation by works, raising it's wicked, evil, demonic head.

Jesus was asked specifically what are the works God requires of us. That's why I always ask you for specifics, but you only deal in generalizations.

Here is the only "condition" - the only "works" required:

"Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” (John 6:28-29)

Notice Jesus said "work" not "works".

You'd better realize something soon. God will not save anybody who is trying to save themselves by their works. If you believe any form of behavior or performance in life has any part in your salvation, God cannot and will not save you. You believe Jesus is necessary, but not enough.

You're essentially claiming that the sin debt was not fully paid by Christ. That by our continued obedience, the sin debt is being paid. Because, according to you, if we don't continue to work, we will lose our salvation. That places the onus on us and not on Jesus.

Cue you giving lip-service to Christ's sacrifice while bragging of your own salvific accomplishments.
Excellent reply and 100% truth

Do you believe in the 'already but not yet' principle with the kingdom of God?

That it came on Pentecost and when Jesus was driving out demons, but that it becomes fully and devours all kingdoms of this world at the second coming?
Jesus told the disciples long before the 50th day that the Kingdom was in them......!!

I believe the kingdom of God was at hand when John the baptist was baptising in the wilderness
Amen.....Jesus said the kingdom was within them.....<--the disciples right

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Or within their midst....depending on translation

Okay. I'm gonna give you the chance to set the record straight and give us all specifics. What, exactly are all of the things we have to do to remain saved?

All of them. List them.

And don't pull your usual "well, you must obey the teachings of Jesus."

Name all of them that are required.
Stay humble, keep forgiving others, harm no one, repent if you sin, overcome.

This guy. Constantly making false accusations and bearing false witness. Yet no fear at all for losing his salvation, never apologizes for lying. Is he too blind/proud to see he is lying, or does he just not care?

Btw: How did John the Baptist get filled with the Spirit from his mother's womb without obeying first?
I don't lie.

You are delusional

You have been proven to lie many times, its been quoted to you. WHAT is wrong with you? im starting to wonder if its something severe?

Did you, or did you not say that OSAS believers have not repented of ONE SIN? YES OR NO? I quoted it to you many times and asked you to apologize

Why are you so prideful and refuse to apologize for running your mouth? I apologize regularly and think nothing of it, so I think I got the humble part down better than you? Oops, is that prideful boasting on my part? I APOLOGIZE.

I can apologize for all the evil I spoke about you. Sure. Im sorry.

See thats not hard. You next. I will probably be dead and/or gone before that day comes
