GOd has a plan for each of us and He wants us to live so we can carry out that plan.
Satan is the one trying to disrupt this plan, and if he can get you to cut it short it short, he will try to influence you.
Suicide doesnt glorify God. The psalmsit said with long life I will show my salvation. Now David might have had every reason to commit suicide as he got depressed, he had enemies all around, nobody would help him. Elijah too. What about Joseph in the pit. But in their worst times, in those valleys...God was there leading them through it.
And I will say to you suicidal thoughts are more common than you think amongst people, esp young people with no idea about their furutre prospects, and elderly whos family have deserted them and all their friends have died. BUt Jesus says I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Jesus was tempted too, on the cross, even when he was being tortured, people tried to get him to comitt suicide by drinking poison but he refused. He endured to the end, because his death, even though he was killed by others was going to glorify God not satan. Plus he would rise again. He could have died sooner by his own hand and not faced suffering. But that suffering was important to show He could overcome it.

Samson makes the 11th chapter of Hebrews...the chapter of FAITH.....he prayed for his strength to kill himself and avenge himself on the Philistines...GOD GRANTED his request....Not only dis he commit suicide by pulling the pillars down upon himself....he also killed 7000 Philistine Lords in the process!!!
Only one sin = hell....disbelief into the blood/Christ!!

Like the independent Baptist minister I know said,"Wanna see my dictionary?"(holds up his bible). While I use a dictionary sometimes to define words I don't know that are no longer used, I use the bible to understand what they mean in context to what God knows them to be,

If you end up dying as result of your suicide, but while conscious before you actually died, you suddenly realized this was a mistake in judgement, a sin unto God, and you call out to God for forgiveness and are sincere...I believe the moment you died from your suicide, you are in Paradise with Yeshua.
And since you did die, and you died from an attempt at suicide, so it's labelled as a suicide...Means, people you knew in life will be discussing you, like we are discussing everyone as a whole who has ever committed suicide, and died as result of it.

Agreed, Yeshua did cry out for the sake of mankind to the Father and brought redemption when He said, Father, forgive them, for they do not understand what it is they are doing!!
But, this is only the doorway to the Father. Yeshua, set a precedent the moment He said, Forgive Them. Because that is how He taught us to pray to the Father, by forgiving those who have tress-passed us. And then after we forgive others, we can then seek for forgiveness ourselves.
This means, DAILY, we should be going to God and forgiving the sins of others who've done us wrong throughout our lives. There will be enough people that each day it gives us ample opportunity to seek the Father and bring forgiveness to someone else. And that is a very essential thing to be doing, especially when you consider, to be forgiven, is to first give forgiveness... And we all need forgiveness for ourselves to begin with..
Only to any who believe suicides are automatically condemned to dmnation. It is written in more than one place that our Father will in no wise turn away a broken heart……….. It is still unknown how my own father died. It is officially counted as suicide, however there is evidence it may have been murder. Eithe way I expect to see my father with Jesus, and if it wa s murder, I pray the guilty party is repented and there also.

No person can judge the value of another's pain. Help should be sought, but if all attempts at help prove absent, stymied, or useless then the sufferer is left with little choice - continue suffering or end the pain. Often the pain can be caused by the initial lack of such things in life. I tried to help my family, but when all I asked in return was a little respect and appreciation my family told me to go the he!! away. Same with work. Not everyone can take the meds, in my case every single one of them (including otc meds) caused my tinnitus to scream so loud it was unbearable (a known side effect of most of them). Too, counselors only talk to you because they are getting paid to, not because they care (been to many of them). And God - He too can be a source of pain, when He acts to stonewall stymie and make irrelevant every attempt you make to fulfill His charge.
Oh and if you are one of those who would tell the sufferer to think of the feelings of those being left behind - you are part of the problem. At that point you put your feelings above those of the sufferer - a situation that most likely contributed to the suffering.
Katherine, I feel your pain. Honestly all that keeps me from eating the shotgun at this point is the 99.999% certainty that like everything else I attempt to do, it will fail too. Perhaps that may be the biggest deterrent to suicide - knowing that yes, you are that big a loser.

If you commit suicide you will go to hell. I know because I wanted to kill myself but I kept praying about it and cried out to God for answers because I believe in Him. So I asked Him if you see my hurting and in all this pain and Im telling You I cant do this I need your help. The word of God tells us He will not give you more than you can handle so I cried out to tell Him its too much now and I need HELP. And He answered my prayer. He gave me psalms 30 for confirmation. And that psalms let me know in verse 3 that I would go down to the pit but he saved me from the grave. And it further says how ur blood cannot glorify God so His will is not for me to kill myself but to live and praise Him and glorify Him with His testimonies Hes doing in my life. If you read 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 this was scripture prior to getting healed. It showed me I would go to hell. And if that scripture isnt enough proof Jesus taught if you break one commandment you are guilty of all and the punishment for sin is death. Only Jesus can abolish that through His blood. But this is only accomplished by faith with works! James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
So how can you have faith but your works show you dont have faith? Because killing yourself is giving up. Not only on yourself but God. You make God to be a liar and you betray the most High God by killing yourself. Dont let the enemy decieve you. Cry out to God He answers prayers.. He is who He says He is. I strongly disagree with you. If you kill yourself you are defeated and you said it yourself we are conquerors we have victory in Christ Jesus. One whom kills himself is defeated. Another factor is that our body is the temple of the Most High our bodies do not belong to us 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 so how can we destroy Gods temple when we are to serve Christ. Only satan is here to kill steal and destroy. Suicide is the work of the devil and if we have not learned that even Judas who walked with God and betrayed Jesus is now resting in his own seperate place as referenced in Acts 1:25 so lets not give in to the false belief that if you believe you are a Christian you will be saved. Read 1 Peter 4:17-18
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
Scarcely be saved! Strongs concordance says scarcely means with difficulty. I interpret this passage as meaning FEW! For narrow is the straight gate and few shall find it and few will enter and broad is the path to hell. Im paraphrasing
