This is a good parody and could be true. I have seen people do this.
But there is another point, our calling is to walk in Jesus's ways and to know love.

Do you know why you should not sleep with every girl who offers?
Do you know why if you could steal, murder, slander, abuse your do not?

Some do not, claim the name follower and yet walk in sin and death.
So on a forum like this raising just the ambition is deemed the enemy.

But if the ambition in the enemy, then one is no longer a believer. It is that brutal and true.
So we are those foolish righteous people walking His ways and working through resolutions.
But if this group will never be your group then goodbye to heaven and Jesus, because these
are His people.

And if you know drunks, sexual abusers, depraved, evil men who kill people on a whim, you
would rather be with the God squad than the lost and empty.

This is true. If you've ever been locked up you know the first group of people all too well! They are out there, but you know what I can get where they are coming from. Maybe I should start a prison ministry! If the Lord calls me to it!

and how Jesus can turn this around.

Often to reach people like this you need someone like yourself.
I could help this believer and encourage him, but I could never put across the darkness
and coming to light like he could, because I am a nice protected middle class guy.
I could though be a real brother to him, and boy what fruit.

He had dedicated 6 months to reading through a commentary and getting his heart
straight. And I know the Lord answers when we put Him first, Praise the Lord.

I saw that a lot too. Many guys who come to the faith in lockdown end up doing a complete 180 degree turn in their life. They are usually in it with a pure heart, nothing fake about it!

People inside also respect it, if they see you are reading the Bible while others are gamblign away at the table, they will leave you alone. I remember one guy was excited when I showed him how the Bible doesnt condone snitching.

I showed him the verse: "a man of understanding holds his tongue. A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret"

That guy is also saved today, he is studying to become a car mechanic!

I am guilty of making a mistake. Saying I recognise your endeavours and intention and theology,
and like all empathetic people would love to help you and not disappoint, you think this is an

I am not questioning your faith, I am questioning what I hear you say, which contradicts itself.

You can not say you have faith in christ and the cross and that is your assurance, and then claim that you do not have eternal assurance or security in christ. Because saying so means in reality your assurance is not in the cross. But in yourself.

Your guilty of preaching contradiction. Of saying you believe your saved by faith, but then maintain your faith by works. Meaning in the end, yoru real faith is in your works.

Believing slough is Gods way, any effort or desire to be righteous or holy is evil.

There is a dilemma. How do we have a right heart and do things in God or do things
because they need doing but we hate it.

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give,

Doing anything in the Lord we should do it because we believe in it, freely.

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

I as a kid I had a sunday school teacher who hated it. It came across very well, the hate.
Whatever she believed I did not want it.

So we need to know what is the reflection of His work in us, and what we are trying
to do because we think we must.

So resting in God, knowing His love and His will opens the door, but this love is active
and direct about reaching out to people and knowing the truth.

In Christ our desire in everything is:-

Some people want to work. They want to have power (or should I say REFUSE to give up power. They want to take credit, instead of giving credit to God. They want to boast in self. Instead of boasting in God.

In one breath they will say their security is in christ. In the other they will say their security is in how hard they work, And to excuse this contradiction in their own mind, they will attack others of not wanting to work, Of not wanting to Grow. Of thinking it is ok to live however we want, and how much we love sin, and have no desire to grow, and HATE doing the work of God

Who hates doing the work of God? Did the pharisees? Did the jews? They loved doing the work of God. Thats why they were seen as righteous because they were law followers.

No one hates doing the work of God. But doing the work of God (being obedient to certain laws) does not mean your saved. Judas walked wiht god for 3 years. Yet he was so good at obaying Christ no one thought for even a second when Jesus said one here was going to betray hi, that it was Judas.

People are in our churches, they are consistend, they give to the church, they don’t do all the major sins, and they fellowship with Gods children, but they do not know God at all.. This is not new, it is all over the NT, Thats why time after time we are told to test our faith. Test our conviction, Test our motivation. Test our salvation.

Are we obeing BECAUSE we are saved, or are we fooling ourselves and thing this obedience and this walk is what in the end determines if we are saved or not.

Jesus himself said people who have never been saved have cast out demons and done all kinds of work, and they will use this as the reason God should let them in, But jesus will not only declair he never knew them (they were never saved) but he will tell them to depart. Because although they CLAIMED to be a God follower and obedient, they continued in sin, because they NEVER came to faith in Christ through TRUE repentance. Which leads to salvation (their repentance was superficial. And in the end, their faith was not in God. But in works. Even thought they will fight tooth and nail their faith and assurance is in christ.

When a child goes to school who learns, the child, yet who provides the school, teachers
and support, the parents and society. So who makes the child learn, the child but this
is not possible without the provision, and saying the child takes no credit denies the whole
process of becoming an adult. In Christ things are no different. Everything is provided by
God but we still have to walk, believe, learn and put it into action.

Those who believe coming to Jesus is just an idea, only see staying a baby is salvation.

Hating individuals who one has labelled as false teachers or wolves is acceptable behaviour.

A person shares what is in their heart. What they share is true to them, often sincere and true.
Often the way they share can be different and not polished, sometimes from a very conservative
background. One has to listen and understand their intentions and where their heart is.

What you will discover is they have something good to offer, an emphasis that others have missed,
and this burden to share drives them on. The most discouraging thing one can do, is simply to
hate them and reject the good insight they have got.

As people of God we are called to get alongside people and get to know them. This often means
choosing to ignore the difficult aspects of their lives and just love them.

My wife put it well. Our son had sat up in bed one morning and then threw up. He was terrified and
distraught but she could take him and cuddle him, so he knew he was ok. Jesus did this in our
sin and our enthusiasm, our energy, our certainty and just was there.

And sometimes these strange people are prophets of God, shaking up that which is safe and secure
and making it difficult and different.

But if hatred is in your heart and not Christ, it is easy to just shut out everything and find Christ
himself has been shut out as well.

Lets go with your example

Think of it, A parent has three kids,

One child goes and works, and learns all they can, A child who makes it through college and gets a master degree they are at the point they can do alot of stuff as an adult. And even recieve alot of rewards for doing this.

Another child who drops out of high school and never graduated will not have the fanfair of the graduate, or even the knowledge and ability to do as much as they can, but they can still be usefull to society Many people who have not graduated have good jobs and are even rewarded

Then again, A third child may never learn anything, walk his way through school. Gradute because he can do the basics, and not perform anythign for society that earns any rewards.

In the example. It must be known that a child of God can do all of these things spiritually, One could say this represents three types of Christians. All who have been adopted into Gods family. And what they do AFTER they have been saved.

You see, in the end, All three are STILL the parents children, Their lack of work did not affect their place as the parents child. It affected how usefull they could be to society, how many rewards they may or may not get. And what kind of life they will have. As paul said, All of Gods children will be judged one day, And all will recieve a reward.

Some will recieve many, like gold silver precious stone
Some will probably not recieve as much of these great gifts, and also have some of their work burnt up
Some may in the end have nothing to show for their life on earth As Gods child. But as Paul makes clear. EVEN SO, THEY ARE SAVED, EVEN THOOUGH THROUGH FIRE (a saying anyone can relate to as they have witnessed or heard of people being trapped in their house and manage to escape with nothing but the clothes on their back. All the things they worked hard for their whole life is lost and burnt to ash. Yet the person is still alive, and still living)

People want to say this work of going to school is essential to earn your salvation, those who do not make it or walk away lose their salvation, because they did not stay and finish the race and earn their reward.

A child is a child of their parents

If the objective of heaven is to be a child, then God would appear with an exam, saying
believe in Him enter heaven, done deal.

No heaven is about being like Jesus. Yes you enter and start to walk, but your walk is
eternal and has no escape clauses or lets take a break and do our own thing.

Once you see whether we grow here or in heaven the reality is still the same, the walk,
not walking or rebelling disqualifies you. And it is this disqualification people hate.
I mean how dare I be disqualified, I filled in the entry card and it said no conditions
guaranteed, (burp) so I can be (.....) whatever I (.......) want to be ....... lol

The Lord said who are His people. Those who obey Him and do His will.
When you pray pray like this

Abuse and being disparaging of such evil people is what they deserve.

Does anyone deserve abuse, or is it something only reserved for real obvious failure?

Some make a habit of attacking people not commenting on the expressions and ideas presented.
It is the ideas that matter, and it is they that change peoples lives. It is possible though
to hide a message by making the person speaking appear evil, distorted, and wrong.

Evil people silence good people this way, while good people let others speak and then bring
arguments against the ideas. This is how God works. He is very open and lets all the arguments
run to their final conclusion, at which point it is obvious who is speaking the truth and who is not.

A snake or a viper waits for a weakness and then strikes. Such is abuse and undeserved responses.

So when abuse reigns supreme Gods truth and love is not being listened to and only evil reigns.

We can become defiled, Hebrews 12:15. Our lamps can burn out, Matthew 25:8. We can cause ourselves to have to have Christ formed in us again, Galatians 4:19.

We are told how to remain in Jesus, John 6:56, and if we do Jesus will remain in us, John 15:4. Jesus tells us of the good if we remain in him, John 15:5, and of the bad when we do not, John 15:6. Jesus exhorts us to remain in him, John 15:9, 10, Acts 14:22, and 1 John 2:24.
