The Bible says the Sun and moon go down and rise. So in the Bible when the earth and moon stood still it could have happened. If the earth was rotating then stopped all the oceans would flood, spill ext. this making the miracle kind of tough.
Umm... no, it doesn't. Not at all. To a God that can stop the planets holding the water to the earth would be nothing. In fact your version makes it Less miraculous by trying to use science to explain a miracle. But miracles operate outside of science. That's why they're miracles. So you'll have to find a better argument. The Bible says the Sun and moon go down and rise. So in the Bible when the earth and moon stood still it could have happened. He might, but then, it appears that his phaser is set to "Stunned".Umm... no, it doesn't. Not at all. To a God that can stop the planets holding the water to the earth would be nothing. Any act of God, whether it is perceived as small or large is a miracle and there is nothing that is tough for God. The tough part is when the miracle is examined and explained, accepted or rejected, by the limited or biased capacity of the human mind. The Bible says the Sun and moon go down and rise. That's it exactly. People tend to limit God based on their own preconceived concepts.Sounds like Jeremiah 32:27 to me.
Wow I didn’t think about stopping the water because the miracle was stopping the Sun and the Moon. That’s a good point. God could do anything, so God could make the sun and moon stop in the as the Bible says. Right?Umm... no, it doesn't. Not at all. No but it appears no one believes God stopped the Sun and Moon. We know God also controls the sea. Jesus can walk on it or calm a storm. So do you believe God stopedthe Sun and moon or stopped the earth? And I thought stopping the earth would be a tough miracle, I guess water could be harder to stop than a planet.
You are mistaken. I actually live next door to you so it APPEARS you are the center. Missed by that much. Sorry Chief. “RIP Don Adams”Foolish little sloka! Everyone should know that the universe revolves around me!!

Well the sun does spin like the earth, but the earth rotates around the sun not the sun around the earth. so yea I believe the rotation of the earth was stopped along with the seas, winds, clouds on it.
Any other miracles we should throw out? Water doesn’t turn to wine, or walking on water? If God says the Moon stood still as did the Sun I am not sure how to process that. Thanks for the candid responses. How did you get this name “ KnowMe”?Well the sun does spin like the earth, but the earth rotates around the sun not the sun around the earth. so yea I believe the rotation of the earth was stopped along with the seas, winds, clouds on it.

Joshua 10:13 KJVSounds like Jeremiah 32:27 to me.
