Salvation is all about faith and trust in the One who saves ( Jesus) and in his word( the Bible). Without trust in the Lord Jesus and trust in his promises, that they are true and that he is trustworthy, assurance of salvation remains out of reach. Ultimately assurance comes with trust in the Savior, his heart, his character and love, and his word.

What has helped you rest in Christ Jesus as your Savior? What have you learned about his character and his promises in Scripture?

I have a powerful testimony since I decided to trust Jesus and do what he says, even though I did not understand why he said what he did and what it meant exactly. In my time before I was saved, a scripture kept coming to my mind, "Lean not on your own understanding..."
I would like others to have the powerful testimony like I had, too.

That is good. Feel free to share here if you want to.

"For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." (Hebrews 13:5) I hang all my hope and trust in that promise, it gets me through many tough days. And also his last departing words; "I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matthew 28:20)
