Look.....being "IN" Christ is a fixed, eternal position maintained by Christ, his power, his work, his grace and his promises.....it is not about following the letter of the law.....THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of Christ has been IMPUTED to you by FAITH without the DEEDS AND OR WORKS OF THE LAW.....CHRIST WAS BORN, LIVED AND DIED UNDER THE LAW AS A MAN that KEPT THE LAW AND COMMITTED NO SIN....THAT is what is applied unto us by FAITH and exactly why we are JUSTIFIED BEFORE GOD....when he looks at us, while still being in a sinful bidy that fails daily HE SEES US THROUGH THE BLOOD AND RIGHTEOUSNESS OF HIS SON JESUS.....all works, any works, all and any fruit both good and bad produced by those genuinely saved will be judged and rewarded accordingly, however our POSITION AS A SON remains secure.....if we walk faithfully he rewards us even more....if we walk contrary he whips our butts off and takes rewards away JUST LIKE WE DO OUR CHILDREN, YET OUR CHILDREN NEVER STOP BEING OUR CHILDREN....
...What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? Much in every way! First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God. What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.” But if our unrighteousness brings out God’s righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.) Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the world? Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?” Why not say—as we are being slanderously reported as saying and as some claim that we say—“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is deserved. Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin. Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law. Romans 3:1-8,19-20,31
in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. because THOSE WHO ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD ARE SONS OF GOD. Romans 8:4-8,14
...Jesus said to them, “IF GOD WERE YOUR FATHER, you would love me,("IF YOU LOVE ME, OBEY THE COMMANDMENTS") for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for THERE IS NO TRUTH IN HIM. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is A LIAR and the FATHER OF LIES. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? He who belongs to God HEARS WHAT GOD SAYS. The reason you do not hear is that YOU DO NOT BELONG TO GOD.”
John 8:42-47
...We know that we have come to know him IF WE OBEY HIS COMMANDS. The man who says, “I know him,” BUT DOES NOT DO WHAT HE COMMANDS IS A LIAR, and THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him MUST WALK AS JESUS DID. 1 John 2:3-6
