I was hoping to read more about people's near-death experiences, aside from the guy who was in an automobile accident. Anyone else have any?
My second wife died for a few minutes while delivering her first child (breech). She said she saw her body on the op table, and then was approached by a very bright light. She assumed the light was Jesus (or God) and ask if she could stick around and watch her baby grow. The next thing she knew, she was waking up alive.

We both have studied scriptures and come to the conclusion that the dead are asleep. Her ability to ask God for another chance at life was a vision. He knew He wasn't taking her right then. What actually happens at death is not pertinent to a vision.

I don't know if I would call it evil. But remember God is no longer bring new prophecy after any manner. So then what manner of spirit coming from the father of lies.

Nothing other than Satan is evil of itself. If a person begins to trust these experiences as inspired from heaven (prophecy) rather than a imagination of their own heart which is defined as desperately wicked and beyond cure as in who could know it? They are headed towards trouble. God is greater than our imagination. We are informed in the first commandment to have no gods before him and that includes our own selves as created in the image of God as sons thereof..

If I would recover from that kind of surgery I would thank God for healing me and giving me another opportunity to show appreciation.

No blind faith .Imagine telling the surgeon to do it blindfolded and hope he has a vision to guide his hand.

If I had a vision as a what is called out of the body I would acknowledge the source (not inspired from heaven) . If not I would expect a strong delusion and continually believe God is still bring new prophecy even though it is sealed with 7 seals till the end of time. God does not need to confirm His activity. We walk by faith .the unseen eternal not by sight after signs and lying wonders.

lying wonders = Wonders, false source of faith by which some believe their fleshly minds..

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:2 Thessalonians 2;7-11
What verse say God do not give prophecy anymore?

Paul say prophecy is one among the gift

In the Bible happen some people raise from the death.

So it is happen.

The doctor may do not believe people can raise from the death. So they call it near death, or almost death.

But I do believe people can raise from the death, it is record in the Bible.

The devil may copy what God do, but I am not sure devil able to raise the death, it may heal near death.
Raising from the dead is always spoken of as a parable, using the prescription found in 2 Corithians 4:18 to find the hidden spiritual meaning.

I would think you would have to define the word "dead" using the scripture. Even the apostles and disciples had difficulty understanding how the word "dead is used"...used (2) ways. . (1) It is used to represent the first death as that seen the temporal and the other(2), not seen the eternal second death if a person has not ben given a new spirit that could never die. .

The believer will not face the second death. Those who believe not are already judged in so much they have no faith. They will not rise to new life on the last day..

Lazarus had no physical qualities by which he could hear what the other disciples heard. He was used as an example of the working of the first century ressurection. absent of the body present with the lord who lives in the believer all the days of their lives.

The ressurection we receive when we first believe according to the faith of Christ that does work in us with us. Having passed from "death to life".

According to the example using Lazarus Jesus asks the believers to help remove the grave clothes which represent our dead flesh .

The second resurrection we will receive our new incorruptible bodies .There will be no assistance needed to remove the things that bind us to do the will of another.(the god of this world) Flesh and blood without the spirit essence of life is dead... it could never enter the new heavens and earth.

Its a picture of a new believer entering fellowship with other believers helping a brother or sister to loosen the bondage of sin that easily betrays us..

And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go .John11:44

The dead in Christ are asleep. Those who do not have the Spirit of Christ they will never awake . They have no living spirit to awaken them in order to receive their new incorruptible bodies..

Out of body or what some call near death experiences is simply lying spirits bringing in information into one fleshly mind.

The Son of man (Mathew 4) has left us a example and a warning that if we were to experience out of the body or near death .Just as the Son of man, Jesus three times... he replied, as it is written. It alone is the one source of faith by which we can believe God as he applies it to our new heart and new mind.

Trusting ones fleshly mind through a false messenger the spirit of lies is the validator of the unseen spiritual truth of the gospel shows a person has gone above that which is written . Why go above that which is written?

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, Collossians2:18

In verse 23 it is called will worship .( worshiping ones experience) some might call a sign gift. .

Colossians 2:23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

Yes prophecy the gift that brings faith previously having none .Not little nothing, nada.

Prophecy is simply God's word. Prophets prophesy or declare the word of God. We have it in full (the perfect) with no laws missing by which we could know God more adequately. We prophecy today as you show by discussing the gospel here. But are not receiving new revelation spoken directly by God after any manner to includes tongues (many languages of all the nations) .. He has sealed up the possibility of any new revelations with seven seals and gives us a warning not to add or subtract from the book of prophecy, the Bible..

Everybody, I mean everybody, will be resurrected.

Rev. 20:5, 12, 13 "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." :)(y)

Where in the Bible say no more revelation from the Lord?

Say I ask God, what kind of Job is God want me todo?

You believe He do not want to reveal His will about job to me?

What is the reason.

You never pray ask God what I say His will in your life?

Literally? Not believing God they already stand condemned . Will they be tried twice?

What are they be raised for and with what , This is seeing their temporal spirits have returned to God and flesh returned to the dust.

In the OT people were said to sleep or be with their fathers at death. If you read Matt. 27:51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

So as soon as Christ paid for our sins we live after death.

In his highly original book "Jesus the Magician," Columbia University professor, Morten Smith collects ancient evidence to formulate the anti-Gospel, the first and 2nd century version of Jesus' life from His Jewish detractors. Among other claims, these Jews claimed that Jesus studied magic in Egypt and that His miracles were either demonic or magically induced hallucinations. I wonder how many posters here would agree with this, if they had lived in Jesus' day. Very few here have even bothered to consider the awesome verifications provided by NDEs and ADCs, and yet, they are quite willing to pontificate from ignorance. No one has accepted my challenge to show cause why the evidence for postmortem survival form NDEs and ADCs is superior to that for Jesus' resurrection and, for that very reason confirms its credibility. Of course, more discerning posters have noticed this and that is why I continue to post awesome cases in my NDE an ADC thread. I challenge you to go to that thread, read through these evidential cases, and show why they shouldn't be taken seriously.

We should always take signs and "lying wonders" seriously. Fleshly minds can take a persons imagination to other places, the outer limits. Without moving one inch from the dessert Jesus had the experience in his fleshly mind. He resisted it as a false source of faith or lying wonder. .

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve .Mathew 4:8-10

Jesus had the experience in his fleshly mind . He resisted it as a false source of faith .

We are warned of those who go above that which is written . Like to the jimmy Hendrix experience ...Have you ever been to electric lady land ?. The god of this world will show the way. just believe as a false wonder. The skies the limit.

Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

I've seen heaven and hell.In heaven, everything was bright.Gods creations were admired.Like everything had a story.I only know this because I was told to look at a flower along a pathway, that these two people who were holding hands stopped to admire. When I walked up to look at it,these images flashed before me.Just one after another.God said that it was mine. Not sure what or how that happen. When asking about mansions,Jesus quoted the scripture but didn't show me.

In hell,it was more of a dark cavern.I could hear satan calling out to me and could feel his presence while I ran.Like he was toying with me.When I seen him,he was with these little creatures, just bigger than a cat.Long story short,I ran again.A voice told me to pray.Which I did. After that God was quoting scripture and a tiny speck light appeared. As it was growing bigger, satan was trying to control his demons, threatening to throw them into the pit.You can tell they were all scared. But they tried to put on a brave face while hiding behind satan.Just before Jesus appeared in the light, some of the demons flew off into the cavern. When he showed up,the brightness blew most of them away, with just a few standing their ground.I don't remember what they talked about but satan challenged Jesus and lost.Something about truth.
After that he blew them all away, just as he did when he appeared. It happen so fast.Like a crazy wind blew him deep into the cavern.I could hear him yelling at others to throw the ones who scattered into the pit.

Had to leave stuff out because it'll take to long to type.

I wouls think a person would have look as to how the bible defines the word "hell" before you can create a picture according to the imaginations of your fleshly mind.

Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Hell a living suffering (Jonah 2;2 ) is simply the absence of God in this present world as in no rest for the wicked. There hearts remain hard. Cain described it as a punish punishment is greater than he can bear. . One that Christ did bear on the seventh day, our rest we have when we do not harden our hearts. Its one of those doctrines that got lost somewhere down the line and has been turned into a nightmare for Hollywood .The imagination is the limit

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper? And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground. And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand; When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. And Cain said unto the Lord, "My punishment is greater than I can bear." Genesis 4: 7-13

Makes one wonder if the person would have seen those images if they were not aware of them from reading the Bible or got them from another source.
