How did you arrive at that conclusion?
The Bible tells us that some of the eye witnesses thought they were drunk.
For the third time... What behavior would cause us to conclude that someone is drunk?
If you were out at the mall and heard some people speaking a foreign language would you assume they were drunk? (nope)
If I were in 1st century Jerusalem, and people I have seen before start talking Chinese, Portugese, English, and other languages, I would interpret that as gibberish and the people were drunk!

I was thinking Kia Sedona, White until I saw this one. Has all the features I wanted except for the moonroof. Plus it's the right size for me. And the dogs. :)

I dunno about the laughter...but I have had a few experiences outside of church and a few in

I had a severe injury once...broken this and that...and could only sleep on my back with pillows propping me up

one night a few wks into the healing process, I woke up and started laughing my head off...could not stop...husband didn't' know what was up...and we had guests sleeping over and I woke the household...but no one was ticked off or anything and I felt better after that

strange. who knows

it wasn't demonic though that much is sure..I really like to laugh and who knows...maybe that was part of my healing

We may have a charismatic mod that doesn't want to reveal himself, yet doesn't like the truth of these videoes.

I'm not into weird manifestations...but we cannot just discount every single thing we have no knowledge of

for sure people go past whatever limits God has placed but that does not cancel out everything God does

I mean, who would think of spitting in dirt to make mud to heal a blind man's eyes?

I've seen demonic and I've seen things I question and I've experienced some things myself that I just don't share

I don't think you share everything anyways. I don't go 'looking' for things either

there has to be a balance somewhere

If you get familiar with this guy you will RUN the other way. THIS IS NOT FROM THE LORD!!!

I have laughed at a contradiction I was hearing from one of my kids, I was rolling on the floor,
and the more I thought about the contradiction the more I laughed.

But this is just an emotional state, nothing spiritual or to be encouraged, other than a good laugh
is good for the soul.

When the lady says she started off in the natural, all she is saying she felt good at the end of it.
And in these big meetings, that is their objective, not to find God or truth or reality in Christ, but
just to feel good at the end of it, blatant emotionalism, or entertainment, a show on steroids.

If you get familiar with this guy you will RUN the other way. THIS IS NOT FROM THE LORD!!!

God TV showed a guy call Todd Bentley.
This was the great revival people were hoping for. The power of God displayed on earth.
Turned out to be a guy drunk in something, talking about angels, singing praise songs, and claiming
the Lord would heal people through the laying on of hands.

Some who went talked about an electricity, but were confused about this emotional high and how
it did not match up to faith, exalt Jesus or scripture.

Todd then turned out to be having an affair with one of the praise group women.
He also believed a believer could be possessed and have the Holy Spirit.
Along with the NAR the evil dominions are fighting against us and winning.

But the truth is Gods will always wins, it where we stand that matters, in Him or not.
And the gifts of the Spirit, can become be something else in the hands of sinners, as they never were
guided by the Holy Spirit, and have opened themselves up to any influence in the spiritual, as if without
repentance, Holiness and Gods Holy Spirit we could discern the difference.

Put simply if the spirit does not exalt Jesus came in the flesh and died for our sins, and rose again, it is
not of God. If praise of Jesus and the Father are missing, God is not present. Because the label on the outside
says christian, does not mean it is, just they have something that appeals, probably to the emotions, to
greed, to success, to flattery, to being acceptable as a sinner who does not repent.

The hardest thing of all, is to present the good news, that we can enter heaven through the death of His son
as He transforms us into His likeness through repentance and faith, Amen.

Seriously? That's ridiculous.
Since when does over-consumption of alcoholic beverages result in articulate foreign language abilities?

Read this account again. There were some that were amazed to hear them speak in different languages, and were blessed. Then there were mockers who heard the same thing and attributed it to them being drunk. NOWHERE is it said they were laughing maniacally, or rolling around in convulsions on the floor, or slaying people in the spirit. IT IS ENTIRELY ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVING THEM THE ABILITY TO SPEAK LANGUAGES.

I do find it interesting that the scoffers said they were filled with NEW WINE. I believe this relates to the wineskin parable Jesus told. They WERE filled with NEW WINE! The Holy Spirit.
Acts 2 New King James Version (NKJV)
Coming of the Holy Spirit
2 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all [a]with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them [b]divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The Crowd’s Response
5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. 7 Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own [c]language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and [d]Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” 12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?”

13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”

This guy does an awesome job refuting this stuff that is NOT from God:

I think something was up with You Tube last night, I saw the message on multiple.
It seem the monkeys have fixed it.

I am so thankful that this can be exposed, people need to wake up, time is short.

Fluency in foreign languages is NOT one of them. If you can't be honest with me, at least be honest with yourself.
(I'm not calling you a liar, just trying to get you to recognize a blind spot - lying requires malice, I'm not getting that from you, yet.)

.
The agitation, nervousness and laughter the young lady was displaying are symptoms of a troubled spirit.

The only true God is a God of peace who calms the troubled soul.

Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." John 14:27

Never before Pentecost was the power of God within a human being unless Adam was a light being as some believe. So you won't find a manual on what to expect until Acts.

We can't control God nor should we dictate to Him that only respectable behavior will we expect. That's the height of pride and is not of God. Perhaps that is why He is giving us experiences that will knock that ugly part of humanity out.

Umm... Thanks for not calling me a liar!.... yet ... I guess.

Why are you inserting behavior that is not in the text? The text TELLS YOU WHY they thought they were drunk. It tells you!! Anything else is from your own mind and experience, NOT from Scripture.

The text TELLS YOU that the scoffers interpreted the languages they probably never heard before as a drunk slurring his words.

PLEASE! Show me where it says they were laughing maniacally and rolling around on the floor in convulsions!

I am the last person to just accept anything and everything as being from God

but I gotta say

we definitely have some Godinnabox folks here

I am convinced that many do not want to speak in tongues or experience anything they cannot pin to a wall and throw darts at

The hardest thing of all, is to present the good news, that we can enter heaven through the death of His son
as He transforms us into His likeness through repentance and faith, Amen.

that was some time ago...years ago

what has happened afterward is actually worse and how Bentley came to have his status of 'prophet' is even worse and his personal angel may have been an angel, but not from heaven

this is what happens when people SEEK out experiences rather than seek after God

HOWEVER, discernement is one thing and simple dismissal is another

The hardest thing of all, is to present the good news, that we can enter heaven through the death of His son
as He transforms us into His likeness through repentance and faith,
actually that is not hard at all.

however, presenting Jesus as the way to heaven leaves people wondering what bomb hit them if they never are taught anything

salvation is only the beginning. because we have an enemy that walks around like a roaring line seeking someone to devour, people need to be taught all of the NT not just salvation week after week

you may know that or believe that...I don't know...but I have been on the active lines of Christianity and teachers are few and far between...plenty of people preaching and teaching who were never called to do so and they contradict the word and their message is flesh and not spirit

oh for sure there are excesses and abuse but that goes both ways

leaving out the Holy Spirit or thinking He is just 'out there somewhere' is just as wrong as teaching anything goes

This is nothing but emotionalism, I would call it demonic. They are playing on peoples emotions by being charismatic speakers, this is not from God. Yet sadly, People think this is from God?

The issue is they have no idea what the baptism of th spirit is. It is not some supernatural thing which gives us gifts, it is the fulfilment of prophesy of John the bpatist, There ocmes one after me who is mightier than I, He will baptise wiht the HS. It is the baptism which SAVES, which was symbolised by water baptsm.

This did not happen on the day of pentecost. And God has no part of this, I am telling you, I am saddened by the people who have been sseduced by this demonic stuff.

How did you arrive at that conclusion?
By studying the word of God?

The Bible tells us that some of the eye witnesses thought they were drunk.
Why? Because they were speaking in languages many could not understand, You ever been in a room where people are speaking a language that you do not know? I have, if it was people I knew, and I knew they could not speak that language, I would think they were drunk!

This was a serious day, People were not rolling on the floor in lafter, they were preaching the word of God!!
For the third time... What behavior would cause us to conclude that someone is drunk?
If you were out at the mall and heard some people speaking a foreign language would you assume they were drunk? (nope)
Lol.. Again, Have you ever been in a room where everyone is speaking different languages?

Now imagine it is people you KNOW who are doing this, and you KNOW they do not know those languages? You would think they were drunk speaking incoherantly. B ec ause you can not understand them, what other explanation could one give? Other than it was a miracle of God?

I think he misses that poiint, It is not just people speaking unnown languages (to the ones laughing) it is people THEY KNOW. And they also know THEY CANNOT SPEAK THOSE LANGUAGES.

So you have to

1. Find a reason (gthey are drunk)

2. Admit this power is from God.
