Lilith name also appeared in the bible....
That's true, the name לִילִית [liyliyth] appears in Isaiah 34:14, but Biblically, it is the name of some sort of nocturnal animal (night creature) in context, and has no association whatsoever with the first human being, Adam.

It also appears in Mesopotamian mythology as some sort of goat demon (if memory serves).

But there is no "Lilith" human being in the Bible.

Also have you read the life of Adam and Eve do you think it consider to biblical?
I am not positive that I'm following you(?) The story of Adam and Eve is in the Bible, so it is, of course, "Biblical".

Are you referring to an extra-Biblical account of our first parents instead?

Thanks!

Also God didn't fully tell the whole truths to Adam about knowing Good and Evil. Instead said there would be death.

1st: Their spiritual death was immediate. Gen 3:8 They hid themselves (from daily fellowship) from the Lord

2ndly: Adam did IN FACT die """in the day""" he ate the fruit

Genesis 2:
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for """in the day""" that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
("""IN THE DAY""" you eat from the tree of knowledge of good & evil, you will die)

Scripture's teach:

Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
(NOTE: In Gods sight a day 1000 years is like yesterday = 1 day)

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
(NOTE: With the Lord, 1 day is like 1000 years)

Genesis 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died. (Adam died 930 yrs old)

According to scripture: Even though Adam lived to be 930 years old. He did in fact die """IN THE DAY""" he ate the fruit.
Methuselah, the oldest recorded human lived to be 969.

Genesis 5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

Final thought:
The Day of the Lord in Joel 2:31 & Acts 2:20. Won't be 24 hrs either. It will cover 1000 years.

There is more written in the Bible, in both the OT and NT, about our progenitors, and that's where I get my information concerning them. Anything outside of the Bible (and therefore outside of what God told us about them), whether this new information contradicts the Biblical accounts and/or adds to them is, at best, sterile conjecture, that leads us away from the truth rather than towards it.

YouTube is most often not the best place to study Biblical/theological history ;)

Isaiah 34:14: Wildcats will meet hyenas, the goat demon will call to his friends, and there Lilith will lurk and find her resting place.
The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl* also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.

*The word translated as screech owl is lilith (night monster, also translated as night owl) but this verse has absolutely nothing to do with Adam.

Adam did IN FACT die """in the day""" he ate the fruit
"In the day" is also a Hebrew idiom that means "for certain", "certainly", which seems to fit well with the Creation account of what happened. As I said above however, I do believe that our progenitors both died "spiritually" and 'began' to decay and die physically, on the day they ate the forbidden apple.

Scripture's teach: 2 Peter 3:8 ... one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (NOTE: With the Lord, 1 day is like 1000 years)

Genesis 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died. (Adam died 930 yrs old)
If a "day" in the Creation account is actually 1,000 years, instead of 24 hours, how old do you believe Adam was when he finally died physically?

Thanks!

Btw have u heard about Lilith and how she Adam first wife? Also the story of Adam and Eve life?
Yeah as in the Succubus as the male version being the Incubus. Theres alot of talk in certain areas of pop culture of such possibly Apocryphal teachings which most are basically Biblical fan fiction Imo seeing how the RCC takes it so seriously I think that gives me a good reason to question it. Perhaps lay off the Shin Megami Tensai series lol if you know what that is.

I believe the answer to your question was in my post:

Find this passage in my post above:
Genesis 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died. ("""NOTE: Adam died at 930 yrs old""")

Also I posted this:

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for """in the day""" that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
(NOTE: """IN THE DAY""" you eat from the tree of knowledge of good & evil, you will die)

Deuteronomy, if I made this statement: "" IN THE DAY"" of George Washington. Would you read 24 hours into that comment?

Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but """as""" yesterday when it is past, and """as""" a watch in the night.
(NOTE REVISED: In the sight of an eternal God. 1000 years passing is: """AS""" yesterday or 1 day, is to us)

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
(NOTE REVISED: The passing of 1000 years, to an eternal God is: ""AS"" or like, the passing of one day is to us)

Ok.....here is what I think and everyone will scoff and naysay and throw stones and say it isn't biblical but that's Ok....
I actually believe a limited amount of the bible you have to consider the full implication of what is not written between the lines....
First off everyone seems to buy the G rated version of a tree with fruit....
Sorry but I don't buy it....
1. The Serpent is lucifer the fallen one....regular snakes don't speak
2. What did you do?
Eve answers "that serpent he beguiled me....."
Really Eve is that what the Serpent did to you ?
( are you sure it wasn't DEFILE instead of beguile? )
3. What is all this good and evil knowledge gained ?
A. They lived in a protected garden that they were cast out of....
I believe because they realized they were naked...
B. They gained knowledge of the opposite of what they were created to be ( spiritual )
C. Knowledge of the FLESH which you don't get from
FRUIT
D. You get it from being DEFILED not beguiled.
4. What was the curses
" I will greatly increase your conception "
A. Eve conceives a child and goes into labor......REALLY THEY LEARNED HOW TO MAKE BABIES FROM EATING FRUIT?
Really....that's a good one!!!lol
B. Ok so we got thrown out of the garden and the fruit was a powerful flesh knowledge aphrodisiac ....that turned them into immediate sex addicts of the flesh....all from having a little fruit....
5. Eve goes into labor...the lord has given me a son....
( Abel)......
A.....Eve continues in labor...
( wow....that was fast no events in between what's happening here....( must be twins right ? ).....No I don't think so....born same time but not twins.....half brothers from same mother....
B.....Why the hell would you say t

B.....Why the hell would you say that....?.....
C. Easy....go read the lineage of Adam....NO CAIN IN IT !
6. SO WHO THE HELL IS CAIN THE MURDERER'S FATHER ?
There is only two possible answers....ADAM was not the first man and he was the 8th day man as Chronologically written....AND EVE CHEATED ON HIM....OR......
A....THAT SERPENT HE DEFILED ME!!!!
B.Cain was a murderer just like his father the SERPENT!!!
7....Why did the Serpent want to Defile Eve.....( Christ had to be born from a pure undefiled bloodline )
8.....What did God say to the Serpent...."I will put enmity between the woman offspring and yours.... WOAH...BIG RED FLAG!!!
A. ....how does the serpent have offspring ?.....and
B.....did God just say two things in one....? 1. The Serpent and the defiled woman have offspring together ? and....2. Angels and humans can breed .....? Gen.6:4 ?
C....How did Cain become a murderer ? Where did his envious DNA come from ?
( like father like son that's where )
D.....If Eve was the first woman how could the serpent have offspring seed anywhere else ?
9....Cain is not listed as Adam being his father.....If Adam is the pure bloodline of Christ how could envious murderer DNA be in him to pass to Cain?

10.....The fallen Angels DEFILED THE WHOLE IF CREATION!!!!....Enoch told me.

So.....anyway I know you people don't believe me but I think you need to explain away all the above facts....
ABEL AND CAIN DID NOT HAVE THE SAME FATHER !!!!!

I agree that fruit has dual meaning.
Fruit is sweet and satisfying but what is more satisfying?

I think that's just Peters opinion.....not scripturally backed....by the 40 days-40yrs of desert wandering in numbers.....or Ezekiel ? Laying on his side in sackcloth ....or Christs word "You tell that Fox I do cures and drive out demons today tommorrow and the third day I will be perfected"
All indicate a day as a YEAR

Ok, looks like you got this verse from the CEB version of the bible. The King James Version or New King James Version are probably much more accurate versions of the bible.

Here is Isaiah 34:14 in the NKJV bible:

"The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the jackals, And the wild goat shall bleat to its companion; Also the night creature shall rest there, And find for herself a place of rest."

Hi FlyingDove, I misunderstood, because those who choose to interpret the days of Creation as far longer than 24 hr periods of time, always reference those same texts Psalm 90:4/2 Peter 3:8, as the Biblical basis for doing do (which would have made Adam 339,450,000 years old when he finally died if each "day" of his life lasted 1,000 "years" .. if I am doing the math correctly, that is :))

Also ... if I made this statement: "" IN THE DAY"" of George Washington. Would you read 24 hours into that comment?
Yes, of course, unless he was a Bronze Age or even Iron Age Jew ;) If he was, then the meaning of that phrase .. as a Hebrew idiom .. may have meant something else (as I pointed out in my last post).

Fair enough, a few thoughts I believe are worth exploring:

The Hebrew word "yom" used in Genesis by Moses translated into English is "day". "Yom" is used in the KJ Bible over 500 time's.

According to the Englishman’s Hebrew Concordance there are over 58 different ways "yom" has been translated in the K.JB.

"Yom" can refer to a variety of time periods ranging from “forever” (Ps 23:6), “age” (Gen 18:11), “years” (I Kings 1:1), “always” (Deut 5:29), & “season” (Jos 24:7)

In Gen 1 & 2, there are 3 different ways Moses used this word. The word "yom" refers to day as in “daylight” (12 hours) in Gen 1:5, to 24-hour days in Gen 1:14, & to a long period of time ("""in the day""" referring to all six of the preceding creation days) in Gen 2:4

In Gen 2:4 does the word "day" (yom) refer to a 24 hr period? Clearly no! So which definition should we give to the other uses of "yom"?
