just wanted to give one more example you forgot, Jesus and the 12, they kept things in commune. John the baptist and the Essenes practiced this as well.
They traveled together as a group of preachers and took donations - not Satan's bastardization of a Communist group of any kind

Too funny...
not sure what a shipping sink is:eek::LOL:

I think that should have read sinking ship!
I agree with "Sinking Ship." America's turning away from God, the Global New Green World Order revolution that has been taking shape and is now incredibly visible instead of a conspiracy theory in the public meetings of the Bilderberg Group, the United Nations in the incredibly evil U.N. Agenda 21 published and put into international law in 1992, supported by and brought to Congress by Nancy Pelosi, endorsed by every president since ACCEPT Trump.

U can call it what u like but it's still communism.
When I was a kid a church could visit a school and hand out Bibles but today it's against the law. If they want to do that today they have to go to Russia.

This is no way connected to communism, not even close.

The reason I think we disagreed so often before is that you are biased toward economics rather than promoting the general welfare of the majority. You seem to know only one definition for words like Communism. That is Marxism.

How you define a Kubutz if not a separate socialistic community apart from mainstream economics? I studied the Bible (from 1977) and the psychology of recovery (from 2008) before I got curious about economics or 21st century politics. (in 2016.)

There is no Communism in the Bible, Karl Marx was not born yet.:)

Communism is a political and economic system.

Living in a commune and sharing everything is not communism, that is just a bunch of people deciding to share everything.

No where does scripture teach we should all be equal in what we own.

Communism is a feeble attempt to achieve economic equality (utopia) by having the state seize all property and forcibly redistribute it.

Game theory tells us very clearly that if 1000 people work hard, everyone is 1000 times better off...until one person realizes he can do the bare minimum and still reap the rewards. Then the second, then the third, etc.

This is why Communism fails every time.

Please don't confuse Marxism with socialism. Marx didn't invent socialism. He perverted it. That's like saying Mormonism and Christianity are the same.

Have you read Animal farm or 1984? It's been required 11th grade reading since I went to school and still is. Orwell hated Marxists and fascists too. He was a socialist!

Tis true, socialism is perverted apart from anything Marx wrote, not much good came from those Fabian Socialists.

Socialism is a system which boasts that is can create equality and tries to supplant the need for the Gospel.

But apart from that this is an interesting line from the socialist manifesto.

In socialist society there would be no wage system. Workers would receive the social value of their labor

.....and then it goes on to state everything is collectively owned, sounds like a nightmare scenario to me.

Orwell was an insider revealing "The Plan" in prose. Humanity in subjugation the final goal of socialism.

And as a Fabian socialist he was agitating society from within, causing the French Revolution and murder and mayhem.

Socialism is always rooted in rot.

They are delusional. the perfect utopian society will never occur as long as some people remain lazy or greedy.

I'm not defending socialism. I'm just pointing out they are not always the same. Kind of like cancer.

the idea behind communism is everything is kept in commune and destributed evenly. thats what Jesus and the 12 did, its what John and the Essenes did.

Aye! caramba! The noun vs the pronoun. like lord and Lord. One is a general term the other is a name or title. Antichrists like Ayn Rand are virulently against Communisis but reject they have a responsibility to their fellow man.

How do you know it was distributed evenly?

Pooling their resources is not communism, they pooled their resources for a mutual goal or to help someone in need and certainly not under coercion.

The early Christians did continue with private ownership.

This is clear in Acts 4-5. In the NIV translation of Acts 4:34b-35, it says: “From time to time, those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35and put it at the apostles’ feet ….

Communism is the redistribution of resources/wealth to make everyone equal by coercion or the force of law.

Completely different.

I dont know if it was even, im just saying the idea is to be even.

Im sure there were some that had private ownership, Jesus never taught we couldnt own anything. Im just giving you examples of Jesus and John and their followers / communities keeping things in commune.

Which is the exact same thing we have in the bible. Both pulled all wealth to a treasurer and redistributed it.

You cant say they are nothing alike because a communist country has laws, every country has laws that force you to live, against your will, in accordance to those laws.

Families keep things communally all across the country that is not Communism. Please this is a ridiculous argument.

In Communism there is no right to private ownership so you argument fails right there. There is no individual liberty in Communism another fail in your argument

Another straw man, communism forces a person to give away what rightfully belongs to them.

What I find amazing is that people defend a system they do not even live by, when you give away all your money to the state each and every week to be distributed to others in more need than you perhaps then we can talk.

It is such a false connection, and such a low low low view of Christianity to think there is any connection to Communism is not even worthy of discussion.

If you view scripture from this lens then I feel sorry for you.

communism - all wealth pulled to a central source and redistributed to those in need.
Jesus and the 12 - all wealth pulled to a central source and redistributed to those in need.

i dont know how else to explain it. how are you not seeing those are the same?

communism didnt work out that simple and many times didnt work but in many cases did work or at least elevated the standard of the time. before communism russia was the poorest country in russia.

i dont think communism is a good system. neither is capitalism. but screaming capitilism is the savior and communism is the devil is very foolish when its in the bible. maybe not the exact same but the idea in itself is. the only time capitalism has worked was when it was tightly regulated. remove the regulation and you get what we had in 1900, the philipines, and what we are moving to today. the mass poverty and enormous gap between rich and poor. the manopaly board game is a very good example of capitalism, the few get it all.
