I don't have to be specific about your sins. The Bible says if you say you are without sin, you are a liar. That pretty much covers it all. You may not like that - but it doesn't matter a whit.
Hi Bud, But I have to say I have not said I have not sinned in my life. So a bit of a damp squib there o_O:cry::LOL:

God loved DAVID
David committed murder
David should have been stoned to death
God spared David and took his innocent son instead
David paid the price through chastisement
David did not lose salvation

get your facts straight FRAN
I'm really tired of hearing about David.
I posted a WHOLE PAGE of verses.

You turn to David?
David repented of his sins and God made a Covenant with him.

Answer to the verses I posted instead of telling me I'm wrong.
We all know you think I'm wrong.

So prove it.

You would agree with a rock if you thought for one second it disagreed with any of us.....
Sorry D,

I don't think any of you is that important for me to have to disagree with you.

I disagree with you because you're WRONG as wrong can be.

Souls are at stake....and you're the Pied Piper.

God help you.

I'm trying to follow all the conversations about Judas.

Do you believe Judas was saved before he committed suicide?
Yes sir.... I don't think Judas started out full of the devil.... Because of Mark 3 and Matthew 10 and a host of other scriptures

I think Judas was tempted just like you and I are and he failed

When I said earlier that Peter's sin was worse than Judas. Was the difference between the betrayal and denial

If I betray you I slam the door in your face........ Denial locks the door?????

Betrayal...... Stabs me in the back with a knife........ Denial it's twisting the knife??????

Peter was looking in at the savior from the fire pit and felt the peer pressure and while looking at the savior cursed and said I don't know the man

The only difference between Peter and Judas was that Peter bitterly wept no doubt asking forgiveness and repenting

The first word Jesus said to Judas in the garden in the presence of Roman soldiers was "FRIEND"....... I believe Judas could have ran to Jesus just like Peter did fall on his mercy and ask forgiveness Jesus would have forgiven him

Of course I know Jesus knew what Judas was going to do... David prophesied it etc.... But Judas betrayed the Lord by his own choice and fall to temptation

No. But that wasn't the point I was trying to make. That point was, a person who isn't saved can preach the gospel and folks can get saved. It's the message, not the messenger.

Like I pointed out with the demon possessed woman. Regarding salvation, what did she say that wasn't true?
AMEN I quoted PAUL yesterday and what he said about those preaching out of spite and contention in hopes of adding to Paul's bonds.....the power is in the message not the messenger.........anyone worth 2 cents of biblical salt knows and understand that truth.....

I agree a sheep of Jesus desires to resolve issues because it hurts their heart in their love of Christ.

But I fear many unbelievers think God does not care about sin, and there are some sheep among them
who need to hear, God cares, empowers and resolves sinful behaviour and offers resolution and healing.

He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed,
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor
Luke 4:18-19
Unbelievers do not believe in Jesus.
But many believe there is a God.
I have met many and when I talked about Jesus they reject it but hope that if there is a God then hope that they will accepted based on good works outweighs the bad ones.

Yes the sheep among them need be like Jesus, that God loves them, he cares for them.

But to be honest and my thoughts are that it is wrong to wade in and say "You sinner you need to come to Jesus and stop sinning"

I love the approach of Jesus.
Met with sinners, dined with sinners.

Loved them where they were at, when they saw this and experienced this then their lives were changed.

We are called by God to be like Jesus, to love and to accept others where they are at.

What a privilege that God would use us.
We must never forget that, God will use us he wants to use us.
So many do not believe it bacuase they think they are dirty miserable sinners.

Just like this hot headed man

Luke 5:8
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”

And we know what he went on to do.

He condemns everyone that does not agree with him.

Jesus said that as we judge, so shall we be judged....the same measure will apply.
Matthew 7:1-4

It is a serious matter indeed...to judge someone's soul.
Only God can do that.

Romans 14:4
Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls.

Yes. To much judging going on around here by some who claim to know God and the bible He inspired.
It is not unbiblical to JUDGE all things, especially one's dogma or gospel BY THE WORD OF GOD....

Salvation began at the cross, apart from us, God giving himself to us and with us until the end of the world. Borne of the Spirit is carried by the Holy Spirit to go on to perfection. Not everyone is interested in working out renewal. Many say they do but you don't see a cross in their life, you can tell by their language, does it mean they are lost? Let me tell you: when I was 23 a babe in Christ, I took pride in hearing the Lord speak to me a few times, that's 40 years ago. The Lord told me: Your going to fall that you may learn to continually repent. "Pride goes before the fall." Was I unsaved when fallen, not according to God, but certainly in loss of a crown of everlasting Life. "Let no one take your crown." Unless we forsake everyone and everything and our own life we can't be His disciples." Some even think there are no more disciples in this day. Obviously they are not called to be a disciple, not yet at least. Doesn't mean they are lost, Jesus had 12 disciples who became missionaries: we don't use the word apostles today, it's lost old English and I tent to agree it can go to your head and your no longer in submission to the Head. I'm called as an evangelist, you should know the gifts and calling of God are without repentance and the Lord continued to speak to me in my fallen state. The word when I was called 40 years ago: Be wholehearted in My Word and I Will accord thee a portion with the great. Shure some of you think that cant be the Lord, that doesn't bother me, I don't expect those who don't understand to change. I also understood at the time, "Whoever is great among you let him serve." 3 years ago when I was still in addiction the call was specific: Do the work of an evangelist. Fear not I Am with you. Pray for the anointing. Proclaim deliverance...
I don't yet have that anointing, and will retire from work in a year. Convinced all this is in God's hands, that as we walk in the light we have we get more light. I believe I will end up in the Philippines. Please don't think I'm bragging, maybe speaking as a fool but not bragging, pride has been broken, there is work to do and don't let pride hinder you, our time is short.

I have 3 different time frames for Jesus' ministry.
They aren't exactly the same...
Also, we have to remember that the gospels are not historical books.
Some of the events are compacted to get more information in.

Anything that is written about Judas has to be seen in the light of how Jesus saw him.
Jesus considered him just like the other 12 until the end. He might have discerned at some point that Judas was going to betray Him...but I don't see it in scripture...
Too much on this has to be understood through incomplete writings.

I don't care to argue it too much.
Someone here said some use this to prove OSAS is not true.
That's pretty funny.
The N.T. is full of verses about how OSAS cannot be true...no need for Judas.
To be honest I don't care to argue about it either.
All we know is that Judas betrayed Jesus, not much more.
Many different thoughts and hypothesis concerning him.

I personally do not believe he was saved to begin with.

I won't address the thoughts you have concerning OSAS as you know them anyway.

No.
I said NOT BELIEVERS.
He said God has agape love for EVERYONE on the earth.

My question was DOES GOD'S AGAPE LOVE EXTEND TO EVERYONE?
Here's my answer....
Then I have missed it.

Can you give me the link where you said Not Believers

I think Paul was saying to believe that we have died with Him because we have. :) Joy comes from being free. So what do we do to keep free? Ephesians 5 tells us.

We are complete in Him. But, how many of us know this? And how many declare this from the pulpit?
Dear on fire of God, I also believe there is difference between men, and women and children here. Women and children are not called to bear the cross with Him. To a woman the Lord said: Stay on the Rock. To me the Lord said: Stay on the cross. Neither does it need to be proven, just to ponder, obviously not everyone is called to the work of God, neither does a man take it of himself as it would be his work and not His work. The Lord did make it clear to His disciples, daily bear the cross and follow Him. It may be wrong on my part to provoke some to godly jealousy; but to explain there is a calling to the work of God, that those who are not called will not understand and even if they understand, need to get past their understanding to, "Go also in My vineyard and what is right I will give you." Otherwise thinking they understood would think they are there already. We are here because we are not all there. Yes humor needs help like everyone else recovering, and God is Gracious and Merciful and we must Go on to know the Lord, being vulnerable to His Love for His Love to Know us.

Would you rather I repost every insult from you
or repost instances where you didn't respond in a timely fashion or said falsehoods about me or others here

or would you rather drop the false accusation nonsense when you "discuss scripture" with me

I will post and explain the sort of tactic I see from you which makes it impossible to talk to you without needing to correct your behavior before we even get in to scripture.

Insulting, and containing a false accusation... in response to me not even quoting you but speaking for my Father in heaven

The doctrine is not of men NNM....
It's of God.
Jesus was God and He taught us what we need to know.
Stop following cute sayings and lies.

If you care to go over the above...
post the verse and we'll go over it together.
Please don't cast your pearls.
And be careful as to WHO the wolves are....
Those that preach correctly will NEVER tell you not to obey God.
End.
(you SEEMINGLY imply some here will tell you NOT to obey God)

romans 5

17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

ephesians 2
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

here i posted only scripture (not directed at you)
you post in your usual manner of being insulting

It's cute how you pick the verses you like.
How about Ephesians 2:10
What does that mean.
10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Why are you so against works?
That's what you'll have to do if you want to be a disciple of Jesus.

None of the verses you stated say anything about NOT WORKING.
Find some of those....
then after being insulting when i post only scripture you make a false accusation thats says i am against works ....
If you do not agree that works keep us saved,,,
it means you're against works.

If you're not against working..
WHY are you arguing with me instead of agreeing with me?

As to a false gospel,,,
You post scripture that does NOT support what you say.

You say above that Jesus saves man with no works from us...
Could you please post some scripture that supports this idea?
I cannot find any.
^^^^^^
then justify your false accusation with this
________

then you reply with this nonsense after you started the ...."discussion" by quoting me posting scripture

Sweet.
Instead of posting scripture,,,,you post the above.

WHEN did I say this was a war zone?
Please show me.
Some here make it a war zone instead of having a civil discussion...
you then never owned up to this....

then you claim I am scared when I am clocking out from work and driving home for not replying to you in a timely fashion.....

you play games fran... or you just do not see how hard you make it to have a serious discussion with you

(very light examples here of our most recent encounters.... theres enough to post many pages if you still want me to "back up my claim")

God made a covenant with David long before he killed Uriah....and of course you desire to hear nothing about anything that refutes your drivel

AND SO WHAT....a whole page or whole book of verses out of context used to say something they do not say does not help your case

Here's something else you could use against me in the future:

GROW UP NNM !!

This is very childish of you.

I said sayings are CUTE....not you.

And yes, if you have nothing better to do, go ahead and find all the posts where I insult someone...
but make sure they're insults because the ones above are not.

And should I also go and find all the posts where I was REALLY insulted?

Oops.
Can't.
Gotta go watch some TV.
