What part of JUDAS FELL don't you understand........he. Wasn't always a thief .......Matthew 10 is plain on that

This does prove you can FALL by transgression. Plain and simple
He fell from being a disciple, as many fell, and walked away, not from salvation, it did not say he lost eternal life!

You want everything to be salvation, its not!

You cant have it both ways,

You cant say thiefs and murderers will not go to heaven, then say this one thief was saved. All to,prove your theory that eternal life is not really eternal. Judas lost it. So there is my proof.
Judas never had eternal life. Christ chose him to fulfill the will of God. What did Christ say concerning Judas?

Acts 1:15-17 (KJV)
15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
17
For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

If Judas wasn't saved at one point, there is no reason to believe the rest of the 11 was either.

Acts 1:25 (KJV)
25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

the OSAS deceivers want to tell you that Judas was never saved

plains scripture says v25 Judsas by transgression fell

Judas didn't start out being a thief................he fell to that............

don't be deceived friends if Judas fell, so can you and I
“And I said unto them, If you think good, give me my hire; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my hire thirty pieces of silver. And Jehovah said unto me, Cast it unto the potter, the goodly price that I was prized at by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them unto the potter, in the house of Jehovah” (Zechariah 11:12-13). ...

24 “The Son of Man is to go, just as it is written of Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.” ...Matthew 26:24

yes many will say "we prophesied in your name" "done many works in your name"

doubt any will say "i prophesied by the power of God" or "cast out devils by the power of God"

Matthew 10:1 (KJV)
1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

let me slowly break this down

he called unto him his twelve disciple (had to include Judas, notice 12)

He (JESUS) gave them power against unclean spirits

the power of God to heal all manner of sickness

the verse you quoted doesn't apply here
Disciple means to follow , Judas followed Jesus , but he did not believe in Him , he got what he wanted from following Jesus , access to the money ( Greed ) he did not have ears to hear that Jesus is Eternal life...xox...

Just like he chose pharoah, god knew how theynwould act, and knew they would do what he required.

I forget where i read this, but it defines the truth...
"Only when one lies fallen in the dust in complete humility, can one see clearly, that the fallen state of mankind everywhere is not primarily in need of an example, but a savior."

Lol, ok man

Keep trying

I look at the whole. Peter was said to steal often from the money

It does not matter when he started it, he was a habitual, sinner. He could not have been saved.

Again, jesus said all kinds of people will talk of all the miracles they did and how they cast out demons, amd jesus will, say depart, he never knew them, not that they were liars

I am sure judas will make the same argument.
You may want to let your OSAS friends on here know that you can't be a habitual sinner and be saved......that's exactly what I've heard on here continully

Many will say we done many things in your name..... but not Judas

Judas will have to say "I cast out devil's by the power of God". Matthew 10

Judas will say " I healed all Manor of diseases by the power of God"

Big difference

Amen, because he was not looking for that.

He was good, no one knew judas was evil, when jesus said one of them would betray, they did Not look at judas.. Jesus even had to them them he was a thief.

He was what we would call a con man.

Great post bro I agree.

How does silas, GodsGrace101 and Goodnewsman deal with 2 Timothy 1:9 would be interesting to hear.

We cant earn our salvation! HOW can it be a PRIZE to work for, when the Bible says salvation is a FREE GIFT. NOT OF WORKS. NOT ACCORDING TO OUR WORKS, NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH WE HAVE DONE

How many different ways does it have to be said?
75 ways to Sunday does not matter...they will still peddle a losable salvation that must be maintained even though the bible state clearly that the gifts and calling of GOD are IRREVOCABLE.......they will go to the pit denying that it is eternal and they had to maintain it or earn it...

MANY will say in that day, "LORD LORD have WE NOT DONE.............."

HOW clear can that be...they CLAIM JESUS as LORD and BELIEVE their works in HIS NAME some how played a part for their right to enter the KINGDOM......

Thank you for answering.

What you praise people do, what you condemn people avoid.

People get vibes from groups, what is approved of and what is not.

"Aim for perfection" This is Pauls encouragement.

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
3 John 1:11

Condemning Gods fulfilment in His people, is destroying the purpose of the gospel.

A real test of the heart is who agrees with this and who condemns it?

Judas had the power of God to cast out devil's. Matthew 10:1

Did not Jesus say Satan can't cast out Satan.....house divided can't stand

Acts 1 Peter said said Judas fell by transgression

John 13 says it wasn't until Last supper after Jesus gave him the sop that Satan entered into him

How much Bible shall I give you??

Being a deceiver with scripture is a bad practice for anyone including you or any pastor
Jesus said of judas- .... one of you is a devil...

is. present tense.

not will be at the last supper.

judas was only using Jesus to try to start a rebellion against rome.

Jesus, of course, knew this. and, satan did not enter judas until judas made the final decision to betray Jesus at the last supper.

To the other disciples, Judas may have looked like the real deal, yet Jesus knew his heart and said he is a devil! (John 6:70-71) Also, in John 12:1-6, we can clearly see the true colors of Judas. He was a thief.

There are genuine Christians and there are "nominal" Christians. There are genuine believers and there are make believers.
