So if love comes because of said salvation and hope comes because of said salvation...
Are you saved if you do NOT have love and hope?

This would mean that salvation DOES require love and hope.

All 3 are necessary.
Read your statement again....
That is not what I said.....like usual you embellish what I say and add your own twist......No integrity Fran and no Honesty.......ONLY one is necessary...FAITH............the other two are the direct result of the SALVATION one already possesses by FAITH....I have never in my life seen one that twists and skews what people say as much as you do...............It really makes me want to not to even acknowledge you

WHERE was my behavior deplorable?
When you were banned from here and deceitfully came back under a different moniker comes directly to mind.

What IS the proof that you're saved?
God's Word says I am - by simply believing that Jesus died to pay for my personal sins. Just like what Paul said to the Philippian jailer.

Callling people names?
Calling a skunk a skunk isn't a name - it's a fact.

You are indeed a hypocrite because you keep saying our salvation depends on our behavior, yet you sin every day just like everyone else.

Feeling hate toward your brother Christians?
I don't hate anyone.

Feeling you could sin all you want to and still be saved?
You make the false accusation, along with your ilk here, that we just sin for the fun of it because we can't lose our salvation. Wrong. We all sin because we still have our old nature - the "old man" - which we will contend with until the day we die.

You yourself don't sin every day against your will. You choose to disobey. Just like the rest of us.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:3-5

What happens when whatever comes our way is persecution, and we are tempted to renounce Christ and depart from Him to ease our suffering or save our natural life?

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Revelation 21:7-8

again

He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. Revelation 3:5

In their flesh, they fully can't. Which is why a Christian's destiny is determined by the new nature in Christ.

Read Romans 8.

We have been made righteous (Romans 5:1). We don't have a righteousness of our own via the flesh. Our prayers are effective due to our new nature.

I'll answer that question with a question: Is all sin, past, present, and future, already completely forgiven?
AMEN....and for the believer---->Where sin abounds, grace abounds the more

Last time I checked our sin was nailed to the cross and the righteousness of Christ imputed by faith to our account.....

So in your view John was a hypocrite, as he said behaviour shows we know God or we do not.

But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.
1 John 2:5-6

So if we do not walk as Jesus did, we do not know God.

I hope you see John is showing there is an impossible to break link between knowing God and behaviour.
Did John sin at all after his conversion?

How many times do you sin a day? When you are sinning, are you walking as Jesus did?

Ever read Romans 7: 15-25?

Notice he speaks of his behavior in the present tense.

Does that mean Paul was actually lost?

You can not take his yoke unless your saved first,
Your trying to put the cart before the horse, shame shame
Let us look at what Jesus actually said.
"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Matt 11:29-30

He says simply "take my yoke upon you" - by definition this is submission to His conditions, His leading, His authority,
His ways.

Jesus's conditions are obeying the Father, repenting of ones sins, trusting in Him and His message of salvation.

Now this is coming to faith, to even begin taking the yoke. I hope this makes things clearer.

@GodsGrace101 you said that since Jesus put conditions on salvation its not a gift but a prize in the end.

Well, WHY does the bible say free gift in Romans 6:23?
And Romans 5:15-18, Ephesians 2:8-9 make the point too!
Because she takes the words of Paul out of context.......simple.....

Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
1 John 3:15 KJV

I guess though if you are a brother hating murdering "Christian" you still have eternal life. According to the OSAS
Again you state openly that you have no honesty or integrity.........see how those works work out for you in the end........what a joke

I do not know John, only have read his letters in scripture. So I cannot answer for him.
How many times do I sin in a day? Only the Lord knows.
When He convicts me I repent. As far as me knowing sins or stumbling, this is rare.
Why are you so fascinated with failure and not victory?

The walk of faith is about walking in His ways and knowing His life in our hearts.
If one only believes that we face a failed future and empty aspirations, I am not surprised one
can end up cynical and defeated.

That's exactly right.

I do think it's really important to know the difference between OSAS, Eternal Security and Perseverance of the Saints.

There's no way OSAS is biblical and we've all proved it many times over.
Those who want to hear will hear.
You have proven nothing other than you twist the word, reject context Greek verbs and deceptively twist what we say to make invalid points or ADD text after the fact to try and make us look like we said something we did not say.....try being honest for one FRAN......especially since you peddle a works/obedience based salvation....not looking real good on the latter

"Does that mean Paul was actually lost?"

This is an interesting statement. Paul was blessed and pressed on towards the goal.
Wherever we are on the path, if we are not pressing on towards the goal we probably no longer
believe in the goal, no matter how much we protest. And that often can mean we actually no
longer believe and have gone cold.

But the fire of faith can often burst forth again when Jesus comes because we call and open the
door. So I want to encourage all to simply call to Him and listen to His word.

Doesn't matter how rare it is - a single sin attributed to you will damn you.

Why are you so fascinated with failure and not victory?
I'm not "fascinated" by it - I'm simply pointing out hypocrisy

The victory has already been won, and it is complete. Christians cannot lose their salvation based upon their behavior - period.

Yep. A Christian can become ineffective for the Lord - but they can never be lost.

I think you miss-understand the gospel. It is about learning to walk in His ways. You seem to believe it
is only about the success at the end, otherwise it is pointless. But you never get to the end unless you try,
but maybe if you have always given up, you never achieved what you aimed at.

Jesus calls us to the path, and to the goal. I suspect you no longer believe in either.
