Nothing to misunderstand about the above unless you have an agenda to find fault with someone. How many new Christians have moments of worry as to whether they are actually saved? Rosemary did, she told us, so do plenty of others. Satan loves to plants negative thoughts in peoples heads about their salvation, we are not all preprogrammed robots, in the real world people may succumb to negative thoughts of a moment or two. Ive known plenty who have.

Brother...the bible is clear.........I am not saying that saved people who are weak, immature or maybe struggling do not have moments of question or even doubt...THOMAS doubted.....the point was, we can KNOW we are saved and the HOPE set forth by the bible = a confident expectation of something guaranteed...........SALVATION is GUARANTEED to those who have trusted into the saving faith of CHRIST....!!

Do not have that CHANGE, you have REASON TO DOUBT. Do not Have that PEACE WITH GOD, you have REASON TO DOUBT. Want to continue to ARGUE, you have REASON TO DOUBT. No or little JOY IN YOUR HEART, you have REASON TO DOUBT. Lack of TOTAL TRUST in JESUS CHRIST, you have REASON TO DOUBT.

However i did notice when you gave your definition for the word "castaway" you left out the word "reprobate" i'm sure it was just a slip of the keys and a mistake on your part

In the context of Paul's words YES......it does not mean lose salvation.....it means to be disqualified or unusable....and as long as you are not honest with the use of the word and context you will continue to peddle deceitful error........
