Wrong again...It is not that we loved him, but that he loved us and gave himself for us. It is faith alone that saves a man or woman eternally!!

Love is a process of growth and maturity...............and I am tired of the fact that you disregard the fact that JESUS was born, lived and died under the law which ratified the NEW Covenant....HIS words MUST be viewed in the LIGHT of this truth!!

His words must be viewed in the light of what HE SAID.
I take it Jesus knew what He was teaching.
I accept the authority He had.

Jesus clearly taught that we are to love our neighbor.
You do love to take issue with EVERYTHING,,,even what Jesus clearly stated.

Well for someone in the 30s i HAVE in fact been through ALL KINDS OF trials and tribulations. Its a MIRACLE of God im still alive after being jumped,shottstabbbed, severe pneunomia, MULTIPLE life and death situations on the inside and outside, in and out of civilian life!! Mix that with a bit of gypsy roma blood, colorful family history and you got yourself some life experiences to last a couple of lifetimes!

But there goes, I hope you're not gonna sweep everything I say under the rug because of that, but WE SHALL SEE!

The person mentioned was a slave to sin(verse14)
Paul told the romans they used to be slaves to sin, so if Paul the Christian is being written about, he is writing to people who live far more holy lives than he does.
A slave always has a master. Therefore the person mentioned in those verses had sin as their master and they were sins slave. Paul wrote:
For sin shall no longer be your master for you are not under law but under grace Rom6:14

Paul believed sin was the master of those who lived under law not grace. And sin was the master of the person mentioned in rom7:14-24, Paul said it was

He brought us Jeremiah 32:40 to show us how He made us, how He causes us NOT to turn away. So the contingencies are based on if and when we REALLY believe.

Lord forgive me of any and all unbelief. I know You are the only way, but that I may be missing stuff in my understanding so I'll not lean on it, but rather on You to bring me home.

I am a Once firmly Rooted (grounded and secure), never booted... but I also believe Jesus is the gardener of my faith.

believed for A WHILE and then FELL AWAY.

Every saved child of God is a work in progress............and if not for eternal life and security we would all be a waste of time because we all fail in some form or fashion.....
