Could we stop with the Greek?

I taught the covenants.
Could you PLEASE tell me the difference between the Mosaic Covenant (or Old Covenant and the New Covenant?

Do I have to mention the Holy Spirit in each and every post of mine or it means something horrible?
@stonesoffire

How come I never get answers on this thread?
Are the questions too difficult?

He worried about him becoming unqualified to teach the gospel because he did something that caused his character to be called to question,

You cant read all of pauls letters and think paul had any fear of losing salvation, it was his knowledge of his eternal state which fave him the strength to continue to run the race.

Even john in his letter said it is our inowldge that we have eternal life which powers us to continue to believe..
I love how you try to tell me what Paul "REALLY MEANT". Why can't you just take Paul in his own words?

Paul said lest I become a Castaway which means reprobate it is the same word used throughout the Bible as reprobate which I've already pointed out

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV

THIS SHOULD SETTLE THE QUESTION ONCE AND FOR ALL

PAUL WAS CONCERNED ABOUT HIMSELF BECOMING A REPROBATE. 2ND CORINTHIANS 13:5 SAID CHRIST IS IN YOU EXCEPT YOU BE A REPROBATE

1 John 2:19
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Hebrews 10
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Philippians 1:6
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

as for the reprobate who turn from their wisdom.... void of a saving faith

Romans 1:26-32
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

nothing to do with saved believers losing salvation, everything to do with people who knew the truth
had wisdom of it

did not prefer the truth to justifying their sin

were hardened by their own choices and took pleasure in it <- not one of them did God start working in as His child... not one was born again
John 15
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

there are two sorts of brances here

branches that bare fruit

"every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit"
"He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit"

and branches that do not bare fruit

"If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned"
"As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself"

this is largely an example of the power of CHRIST in His own

compared to the lack of power in fakers

dont you understand when this is being said?

what judas already did and what was about to happen?

but this has NOTHING to do with the loss of salvation to a saved believer

and MUCH to do with two separate types of men in the same congregation of "believers" (in Him)

YOU posted them...what do they mean?

Why did John state 1 John 2:19?
WHO were those that went out from them?
I sure hope you don't say unbelievers.

WHAT IS the judgement of God?

Yes NNM.
I guess any one of us could cast our pearls...
However, you might want to look into the above from others who know how to tell the truth and not what just makes you feel good.

And study up on John 5:28-29 too.

If someone chooses an incomplete faith, they are not one of God's.
Faith is an indwelling response to received information consisting of belief, trust, confidence, fidelity to said belief.

I don't choose to believe fire is hot before I use it to cook, I received the information and I believe it. Also, knowing that fire is hot I try to not expose myself to the heat it produces in a way it can hurt me.

I can not choose to unbelieve this.

It is not a fleeting faith dependant on new information to uphold in order for me to keep or subject to change... like what the weather will be tomorrow or what sports team is the best....

I believe God is my Father in heaven
and Jesus is my Lord and savior
and the Holy Spirit is working within me... but if fire turned cold tomorrow this belief is not subject to change... ever

because of this genuine faith in Him I have pleaded to be saved from the just punishment I deserve... terrified...

He has not only saved me, and made me new with everything I need to walk in a new way... but He is within me now pushing me forward and will never leave me

My Father teaches me more always, through His word, prayer and life experience...

I breaks my heart to hear so many people say things about Him that isn't true and distort the image of His love for not only me but anyone of His own....

I don't have my works to thank for His love either... I only have His grace

It is impossible to be a Christian of good will with only grace instead of grace and works as written in the Bible..

Abraham was a Hebrew...I mentioned them.

Agreed on the above.
In all fairness and honesty.....

The word Hebrew comes from the verb (עבר) meaning to pass over, through, take away. The first application of this word is in the name Eber. The second application is in the first occurrence of the word עברי, Hebrew in Genesis 14:13, where Abram is called Hebrew.

Given that the NT was written in Greek under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit then there is nothing wrong with trying to get a correct understanding of meaning and nuances, that the writer is conveying.

A really simple example is when Jesus asked Peter if he loved him.

The first 2 times Jesus uses Agape to which Peter responds with Phileo.
The 3rd time Jesus uses Phileo and Peter gets upset and says yes I Phileo you.

Two Greek words for love, with different meanings.
But only one word in our Bible which is Love.

Given my experience when doing my research into the Greek and understood the correct meaning it has set me free but also challenged me.

One example being moving from Phileo to Agape.
AMEN Billy................I love the Greek.....it sets us free from the religious fallacies that lead many to the pit....

No ma'am, unsaved false believers.

What does Hebrews 10 mean?
What does DRAW BACK mean?
You mean when those we (saved believers) are not of with no saving faith, draw back?

I believe it is "going out from us"
can be a lot of things in different scenarios but to a saved believer with the Holy spirit it will always appear like a member of a congregation or neighbor or family member walking away from what appeared to be a genuine faith.

It would be nice if you could keep this kind of tone to yourself... it makes it hard to respond to you and impossible to take you seriously.
