It is obvious you don't understand a joke. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus period. Works doesn't save but is only evidence of salvation. I was paraphrasing what a salesman said when we were under the gun to satisfy a customer that had a problem with the system he bought from our company. We had been working on the problem for 3 long days and finally solved the problem. There were 4 of us, sales manager, salesman, customer support manager, and myself the customer service engineer. My boss and I solved the problem while the sales people were keeping the customer off of our backs as we fixed the problem. The reason I responded to you the way I did is because there are folks here that believe that saying works are evidence of salvation, it is mixing faith and works.
