Guys like to feel strong and in charge. Things like "nice arms" or "wow ur sooo strong" is what they wanna hear lol

Telling a skinny nerd, "you have nice arms", or "wow your so strong" will lead to high levels of awkwardness.
If it is a guy who spends a lot of time at the gym, they may think "yes, my workout routine is paying off. Chicks digging it."

I like being called hot but a far better compliment is on my Magic the Gathering skills. "Wow your Nephilim deck is Amazing!" Me: "Oh no its just okay...

In general Men need RESPECT more than anything (well, you know what I mean)...
Since Men need TO PROVIDE... acknowledging their EFFORTS to either provide, produce, or perform a role, duty or task can be quit rewarding.. "

I am reading a book called "For Women Only" suggested by @Hamarr and it says exactly this. Men require respect to feel loved. Super interesting...

There's a reason why the Holy Spirit inspired Paul to admonish men to love their wives and wives to respect their husbands and not the other way around (Eph 5:33)

Dr. Emerson Eggerichs wrote a book a handful of years ago that I would recommend to anyone who is married, engaged, or planning to be at some time titled "Love and Respect" based on his years of counseling married couples that really digs into a woman's innate need for love and a man's God given need for respect.

I'm gonna check this book out. Thank you for the suggestion!

A handful of years back one of the adult Sunday school classes at my church went through the book. My folks (who at the time had been married around 45 years) said they wished he had written the book decades earlier because it would have saved them a boat load of grief in their marriage.

Thanks. This book is also mentioned in For Men Only/For Women Only, I believe. I was intending to pick it up. The Kindle version is only $1.99 right now.

Two things;

1. That doesn’t really answer my question lol
2. What happens if you’re a over-complimenting woman? (And trust me there are women out there who are like that) - will her compliments lead to relationships with all those men? Lol

Yeah, it kind of added more to the dilemma :D

There are two roads for the over-complimenting woman:

1. Whirlwind marriage with baby carriage(suited for one partner).
2. The multi-relationship road of tea parties, and inevitable "maid" status. Due to cultivating many relationships, her compliments are spread thinner across a wider plethora of subjects resulting in more of a "friendly zone" situation. Groups are formed, and tea is served with a compliment(one or two sugars).

Complimenting any man should be sincere to his character and not just something you could just say to any guy.
You're handsome, smart, funny...
I like the way you laugh, you have a nice voice...
I like your hair, you've got great style, that beard looks good on you, you have nice eyes.
Definitely things you cant say to any random guy.
What do I know?
Maybe they would rather hear they look like a grizzly and smell like one too?
Maybe they wanna hear that those pants dont make their butt look big?
Lol

Men can have big butts. We just don't care nearly as much about them.
