Mark 14:21 - " ....woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.”
If a child is born, then does not "accept Jesus as Personal Savior", that person is assured of eternal suffering, damnation, and hellfire. Would it be better for THAT person, if THEY were never born? The majority of the world will not "accept Jesus", that's a LOT of future suffering.
17 And in the evening he came with the twelve.
18 And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eats with me shall betray me.
19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one,
Is it I? and another
said, Is it I?
20 And he answered and said unto them,
It is one of the twelve, that dips with me in the dish.
21The Son of man indeed goes, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is
betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.
Mark 14:
First these verses refer to betraying one's faith and discipleship in Christ Jesus - many Christians call it quits and throw in the towel and therefore stop walking with their Lord and Saviour.
There are many warnings in the NT about unfaithfulness and returning back to sin and the world.
As to the millions and millions of people who could have been (if those given the privilege of being born to live had not killed their babies) then no one of us can possibly know how many would have come to Christian faith and obedience.
Nor do we know upon how many millions and millions of souls the Lord Jesus will have mercy upon at the time of Judgement.
Adults who enjoy life have NO right whatsoever to deny life to their own babies (children).
It is monstrous and a moral evil equivalent to the holocaust of the Nazis and the mass murders and genocides of communist regimes.
