you know, I think you have a point there
if people speak against the Holy Spirit and teach against the gifts of the Holy Spirit, why would God confirm His word is being spoken by signs to these same people?
is this perhaps the church that preaches a dry and dead word that God does not honor?
I would think that salvation is a sign of the Holy Spirit being present nonetheless, but as an act of God's mercy because it is hardly the fault of an unsaved person if they are being lied to be so called pastors and teachers who sound like the know something from scripture but yet their is no empowering of the Holy Spirit

I do wonder though if this may in fact be the case
