Well thank you! I appreciate that you think I'm interesting. You guys on here are so awesome! Everyone is so nice and patient with my questions. Getting great answers and these conversations are really helping my insight on men. So nice to see there are many sweet men on here. Actually sweet and patient. It's just really encouraging. Seems to me, men are not that bad...;)
I don't know about others, but I'm not like other guys because my interests lie in stuff most guys don't care about. For example, I hate sports and I love organizing and landscape photography and I also sing. I also like classic art and classical music. Just saying I hope you don't take me for an example of what men are like.

Ohhh I love organizing! And planning!!
Also down with sports! :p
Honestly what I'm learning from talking to different men on here is that they come in all kinds. Just because you don't fit the male stereotype, that's ok. I think with my background I would prefer someone who didn't fit that machismo male stereotype, so there all all types for all types I guess. Thank God He didn't make us all the same!

I never thought I would be interested in men. I thought celibacy was how I was going to live my life. Praise the God of hope. He has so much more in mind for us than we can ever imagine.

Yaaaa totally. And, I'm glad that God has changed that for you :)

I wonder if you might find reading something like “For Men Only” and “For Women Only” helpful. They’re both books explaining some of the differences between men and women and the way their brains work.

Someone in a support group I go to recommend reading “For Men Only”, which is about women. I ended up reading about half of “For Women Only” as well. As a guy, it was helpful to see how despite being not very traditional a lot of my concerns/insecurities were pretty normal for men.

Most of my interests early on were nerd things like sci fi, video games, etc. I guess I was always drawn to music and drawing and those sorts of things, too. I did play a lot of sports with friends growing up but never in a team.

I didn’t realize how much I enjoy being competitive until later on when someone pointed it out to me. I got into sports more after that. Part enjoying it as entertainment and part motivation for getting out and having fun or getting more exercise. Partially to burn off all the pizza I shoved in my face on Sunday watching the NFL.

I will get those books. Seems like they would be very informative. Thanks for the suggestion. I to am not a traditional girl. I don't wear makeup and am not a fan of lovey dovey movies. I like scifi and video games. I am somewhat concerned I won't be "woman" enough for a man. Or other women will be so much more "womanly" that I will not be able to compare to them and I'll not be picked at all. Why pick the abnormal when you can have normal, you know?
I'm off to Amazon to book shop! ;)

I wouldn’t worry about that too much. You seem to be pretty cool. I think there will be a lot of guys who appreciate a woman who is into that sort of stuff. I know I would be.

Awesome! Thanks for that! It's encouraging. :)

Women who are into guy stuff usually attract a lot of men. Especially if they know how to work on cars. It's funny because the opposite doesn't seem to be true... Men who like womanly stuff (like me) don't seem to attract women.

I like to cook and perhaps that is womanly stuff too. For some women it may be an attractive quality in a man that is handy in the kitchen.

I personally think I couldn't handle too much machismo lol. I don't work on cars haha but i've worked at a car dealership as an administrator for the last 13 years so I know enough about them i guess lol.

I'm not to sure a woman would have a problem with a man who likes to cook. Sounds great!

Ah yes a man who can cook would definitely attract women. :D I missed that one. It's actually something I like to do too.

I want to learn to cook. I wish I had asked my mom to show me more while she was still alive. I can grill some stuff and and some other basic stuff, but I am generally clueless.

I did have fun getting those meal kits delivered for a bit but it didn’t really teach me as much as I was hoping. All of the ingredients came in the kit and were measured out perfectly.

Where should someone self teaching start for cooking? I was toying with a knife skills class if I can join one for cheap. Or a good you tube channel?
