Everybody can read you accused me of not posting scripture in 2 posts that I directly quoted scripture....your deceptive games belie a 7 year old on the playground!

get honest or do not address me
Who's everybody?

I'd like to see some posts please.
Just like I posted those of a member here.

Problem is....You are UNABLE to because they DO NOT exist.

Mathew 18:17
I may have to go to THE CHURCH.
The CHURCH knows who is lying....

Do Not Bear False Witness
Exodus 20:16

Catholicism = a perfect example of people who claim Christ to be their Lord and saviour yet deny that the bible is the truth. That purgatory exists and you can all make it into heaven if you go to the Catholic church

I would say they do not claim Jesus as a personal Saviour, because they are not told this, instead sacraments are the supplement.

They do not know or understand the concept of Saviour because the teachings are so distorted.

JESUS IS THE TRUTH.
Jesus saves you....

The bible is His word.
HE saves you , not the bible.

Maybe the catholics have it right.

And while you're at it...
Please show me where I stated that I'm catholic.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAH

Um, actually the point I was trying to make was being a Catholic going to church, get the difference?
No. I don't.
I don't know what catholicism has to do with what Hebrews states.
Hebrews 10:25 states that we are not to forsake the assembling of ourselves...for many reasons.

Another member here just said that this is not important.

Seems to me much of what the bible has to say is not important to some folk.

Sacraments are for grace in the catholic religion....
not for salvation.

Back up what you say or don't say it.

Really, Fran?

"Everybody" would be every one on this thread with eyeballs to read all the posts. Anyone who knows Dcon, knows that he uses scripture in nearly every post he makes, including the ones where you asked him to post scripture..

Here's an example. So if a Catholic person goes to church every week and does good by people does that mean they are saved?

Dcon said:
NOPE........our righteousnesses are as filthy rags before God and there is none good, no not one.........only faith saves a man before GOD.....and Paul concluded it was faith alone that justifies before GOD without the deeds/works of the law

1. How do YOU know who is saved and who is not?

2. God REQUIRES us to be righteous. How is our righteousness filthy rags?

3. Please post some SCRIPTURE that proves that Paul says we are saved and sanctified by faith alone.

you should post some scripture about how Catholics will be saved if they go to church considering you believe that if you go to church all will be saved right?
No.
Not right.
And I'm not here to defend catholics.

Do YOU believe you will be saved by NOT obeying the N.T.?
Hebrews 10:25

Back up what you say or don't say it.

The Catholic Church teaches that the keeping of the sacraments are necessary for salvation. In their catechism, page 292, #1129 states:
The Church affirms that for believers the sacraments of the New Covenant are necessary for salvation.”
What does the Catholic Church consider a sacrament? In their catechism, page 289 #1113 states:
“There are seven sacraments in the Church: Baptism, Confirmation or Chrismation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony.”

"The sharing in the divine nature given to men through the grace of Christ bears a certain likeness to the origin, development, and nourishing of natural life. the faithful are born anew by Baptism, strengthened by the sacrament of Confirmation, and receive in the Eucharist the food of eternal life. By means of these sacraments of Christian initiation, they thus receive in increasing measure the treasures of the divine life and advance toward the perfection of charity."3
