Socialism is not "coming" to the US, the greedy capitalists won't allow it (they'll use a socialist/communist system such as China to enrich themselves) - they don't care what "ism" is in power so long as they have control of the economy.

The problem with the right wing minion supporters of the GCs is they think that they benefit when Gc's rule, which they do in the US - big money has fully taken over democracy down there - it should be called a Capitalocracy.

The only choice you have is between the Dems that somewhat have a heart for the working class and the poor or the GOP that don't.

Here is why you are incorrect, although, of course, you are right when you say they won't "allow it". Yet they wont have a choice or the power to stop it.
Anyone who has even a little bit of historical perspective understands kingdoms rise and fall, power comes and goes. NOTHING except Christ and our sin nature is permanent.
Revolutions occur, the public rises, power changes hands.
If you think it can not happen here, wont "allow it" then I think you need to
reconsider what can and can not be.
It also ties into the beginning of the end, paving the way for the anti Christ.
We have to have one world government for the stage for the Anti Christ to come, all Christians realize that.
For that to happen, we more or less will have to have a common system of money and government.
Much of Europe, Russia, China, and some other countries are already doing some form of socialism.
Why it will come here:
- Robots and automation will take away many jobs. This may be greatest (secular) reason why, but there are others that important.
- The younger people seem to be of that mind; when they get old enough to swarm congress and senate and executive branches, they will go that way.
- People, and this is not even age dependent, generally dislike and distrust big companies. There will be little sympathy when they are taken over, or dissolved, or whatever.
- Human nature, being what it is, people want much with doing little. You don't think socialism appeals to our baser side? Why work hard when you don't need to?
- The most important reason; The bible never lies.
With a little hindsight and foresight, we now know, with robots and current political and social climate telling us so, that the one of the world unification factors will be
socialism, in some form.

Well you really do not know what you are talking about here, sorry to say, capitalism is the antithesis of control, the United States has not been a capitalist system probably since the creation of the Federal Reserve.

In a true capitalist system, organizations and people who assumed too much risk and make poor decisions fail. But the United States does not have a capitalist system.

The U.S has a corporate fascist economic system now sprinkled with socialist programs, where a small cartel of bankers and mega-corporations set the agenda for the country through their complete capture of corrupt politicians and the mainstream corporate media.

The GOP and it's supporters like the Koch Brothers are trying to do away with what "socialist" programs there are and control as fast as they can to increase their profits.

The only "ism" that has been successful throughout the ages is nepotism.

The BBC reporting remarks made in Germany and similar sentiments echoed in thoughts through out Europe:

With Europe embroiled in its Brexit difficulties, which leave so many questions unanswered, its leaders also find themselves scrambling to work out what it might mean if these old ties with the United States continue to unravel.

That was what German Chancellor Angela Merkel was contemplating when she said, a few months ago, that it was time for Europe to take its destiny into its own hands.

It was instructive to spend a few days in Berlin recently and to hear over and over again a version of these words.

As Daniela Schwarzer, from the German Council on Foreign Relations think tank, put it: "The United States, with its 'America first' approach, has put Europe and Germany into the space of a strategic competitor, if not even an enemy."

Karen Donfried, who served as President Obama's European adviser, told me: "I would not assume that whoever follows Donald Trump goes back to where we were pre-Trump, because you can't.

"Those four or eight years that Donald Trump is president will have changed the relationship and changed the US role in the world, so it will be different."

We were told thousands of years ago where the world was headed. It's extremely naive of us to think it will get there being led by a succession of righteous rulers. Trump, Merkel, Brexit are all stepping stones towards that end. So we should stop feigning surprise when these things happen.

Brexit a stepping stone towards doom?

What freedoms are any going to lose when he fails?

Well you could start with the five basic freedoms under the first amendment, which already have been eroded,

1. freedom of press

2. freedom of petition

3. freedom of religion

4. freedom of speech

5. assemble peacefully

Not likely

That's the right wing claim anyways - trying running a country without a gov - they want rules for you not THEM.

Government FOR the people BY the people. That is NOT socialism. Big gov't drains the people, that is what socialism does.

Too many questions and suppositions.

Yeah, that's the problem. There was a choice between two people,Trump and Clinton. If you think Clinton was a better choice you need to think again. The other two questions you can answer. Why the hatred for Trump supporters and why the nasty remarks?

Not likely

Freedom of speech (already under attack) and the right to bear arms (already started in West Virginia) under the constitution will be the first to go, you obviously live in some kind of bubble out there wherever you are.

I don't hate trump - I just think he's well over his pay grade and not use to the country - he's a pathological liar, dishonest, bragger (grabber of woman's privates) a serial adulterer and you lot think that's fine?
