If we took that instruction seriously, our preaching of the Gospel would be more relevant under this present Grace dispensation. We will not preached wrongly the various versions of the GC that are found in the 4 Gospels, that I have listed in my opening post
1. There is only ONE GOSPEL although it has various appellations. So there are no *various versions*. They can all be harmonized and integrated.

2. The Gospel is the same yesterday, today, and forever, since the Gospel is essentially Christ -- "We preach Christ and Him crucified".

3. As long as human beings are sinners (and that includes all humanity) the Gospel is not only relevant but imperative.

4. The Gospel is not debatable since it is a PROCLAMATION of God's truth. Some will obey the Gospel while others will not.

5. God COMMANDS all men everywhere to repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. It matters not what language, culture, nationality, or religion they belong to. All are guilty before God and all may be saved by grace through faith in Christ and His finished work of redemption.

Anyone who cannot see that Matthew Mark Luke and John were written to the Jews only, cannot see the GC was also given to the Apostles exclusively.

Paul refers to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that same Gospel that was first given to Abraham, then to the Jews and finally to the Gentiles. It is in the Book.....

If you believe Paul then believe when he teaches there is no other Gospel than that of Jesus Christ...otherwise you are quoting the minds of men who do not know what Paul is passing on to all.
Both Gospels ARE about Jesus Christ, no one is denying that.

But the Kingdom Gospel is about Jesus as the Son of God and the promised Messiah and King. This promise is only for Abraham's descendants. The Gentiles were not included in the that Gospel.

The Gospel of Grace, given through Paul, is about the divine exchange of Jesus's death, burial and resurrection. Jesus became our sin and we became the righteousness of God in him. Gentiles are included in this Gospel, because the Jews rejected their gospel of the kingdom.

Now the only way for both Jews and Gentiles to be saved is thru this gospel.

There is only one Gospel NOW, which is the Gospel of Grace given to Paul.

But for the GC, my opening post have already stated that there is one found in EACH of the 4 gospels.

Can they be integrated? Well I have already pointed out that John's version has an instruction that no Protestant Church follows now. The Roman Catholic does, under the practice of absolution.

If you call that "harmonized and integrated", well, all of us have the right to our opinion :D

Yes, I can see how both our discussion threads point towards this observation. :)

How can telling someone about the love and grace and forgiveness of Jesus ever be irrelaveant?
Do you tell people to follow the law of Moses?
Do you tell people to be baptized for the forgiveness of sins?
Do you tell people to pick up serpents as a sign that they believe?
Do you tell people to start preaching from Jerusalem?
Do you tell people that if you do not forgive their sins, then their sins are not forgiven?

Why don't you tell people all these, if you believe the GC is still relevant for the church?

Oh, you mean tell people the following "Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

That is exactly what I am suggesting we do, instead of the GC! :)

Spiritually, all who believe are sons of Abraham. Know you not that Jesus is capable of raising children of Abraham from the stones in the way?

Yes, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the only Gospel, is for all descendants of Abraham only, for we are descendants of the Father of Nations...…….

Really?
When did Jesus's good news cease?
No more mercy, compassion, grace, sacrifice, law of love, tithing, giving, paying your taxes, helping neighbors, heaing of sickness?
No more good news of born again?
Gentiles becoming the bride?

What good news of Jesus do you oppose?

....and romans written to Romans only?
What about Hebrews?
Who in the world would that book be written to?

If only Jesus could have had a little foresight,he could have included his future audience to include modern gentiles for the past 2000 yrs.

So how irrelevant that "paul only"box is.

The Holy Spirit wrote it friend.
Not Paul.

God only sees 3 groups of people,

1 Cor 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

One point I would like to raise where the Bible translates the Greek into this term "all nations". May I suggest that the meaning is not exactly the same when we understood it in English.

Let me give you an example from Luke 2:1 KJV

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

Young's version goes

And it came to pass in those days, there went forth a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world be enrolled

I am presenting a view that when we read "all the nations" in the Matthew version of the GC, it may not mean exactly what we think it means in the English. It could point towards "all the known Jews in the Roman Empire".

Of course, you could be correct, I am not denying that possibility. But you are saying Peter is misled, and I am saying there could be another possible explanation, that every Jew at that time have a different idea from you about what preaching to "all nations" really meant.
Here is what "All Nations" means relative to the Great commission...

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

So why do you think Peter told Cornelius this in Acts 10, before he explained he had a special vision from God just before that?

28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation;

Do you think Peter understood the GC as to uttermost part of the earth?

The Commission expanded precisely according to what Christ prescribed....Jews, Samaritans, Gentiles, and post-Apostles the rest of the planet.
