There is the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Three separate unique spiritual individuals that comprise one God. I certainly don't agree with the title of the OP.

If the above were true, who was Jesus before his baptism on earth? For at his baptism the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form
Actually it was only a dove that settled on Him after the He was baptized signifying that He was now baptized with the Holy Spirit. After that, the Father said, "This is my son in whom I am well pleased. This passage is scriptural conclusive evidence indicating the true composition of God.
If you believe that Jesus is the Holy Spirit than how can the Holy Spirit descend on Jesus when they are one and the same? Jesus was always Jesus, the Father was always the Father and the Holy Spirit was always the Holy Spirit. In the bible God says "Let us make man in our own image and likeness. The term 'us' is plural and not singular.

Guess it all depends on what version you want to believe.
Though John 6:63 is also something to consider. As well as continually stating all three of them were One.
It was not a dove. A dove fly's over where it is landing and softly settles down, The Holy Spirit is a person and he came upon Jesus in this manner. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus

Jesus of Nazareth was the God-Man who was filled with the Holy Spirit at all times:

Thus we read in Acts 2:22: Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know...
Could it be that God can take many forms? In the dead sea scrolls there is a scroll they call the Melchizedek scroll that quotes Isaiah 61:2 "The year of the Lord's favor ---" to read "The year of Melchizedek's favor---". In several other places in that scroll Melchizedek is spoken of as God.

I do agree with your statement. The way I see it is the spirit that I have inside me is in fact me. My body is the tent in which my spirit dwells for now. When you die, your spirit leaves the body but you remain. So when Christ died, he " gave up the ghost". When Christ rose again on the third day, his Spirit returned back again into his body. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one.
The Holy Spirit is Jesus for God is One. He is said to be called the Comforter and Coundelor in Isaiah 9:6, along with Almight God, and Everlasting Father......
Now if you believe God gave Isaiah a lie, I cannot help you.
Please read, at least, Isaiah 9:6. Now God is not to be cmpared to man. He is One, Jesus teaches this. If your mind is gifted to understand that God is one God but will manifest Himself in any manner He chooses, you are far better than I. Faith! If you have the faith, you need not understand how this is for you will believe God, even through His own words to Isaiah...God bless you now an always.

Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” (NKJV Strong's,)
The Father comes as a Son, it is a modelling principle “pattern” for the sons of God. God does not come as a Father, giving us an example as a Father for we cannot be the Father.
Romans 8:14 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. (NKJV Strong's,)
Can God not speak to Himself? Are not all things possible for Him who has created us?

The disciples described it in the best manner they could, using human term to describe a supernatural event. Not a dove but like a dove, when it descends as it lands. So what does a dove look like as it descends? It’s wings would be fluttering quickly, causing a disturbance in the rays of light, possibly producing a flashing or flickering effect. Moreover, did the Spirit come as a result of Baptism or prayer? Does Jesus have command over the Spirit, and if so could He have called it down upon Himself?

When God told Moses, "I will be What I will be," or "Iam that I am," He was saying He will manifest Himself in any manner He sees fit.
To that I say thy will be done...…....God, quite simply, is not chained to the nature of this creation which bound to corrupstion, no, He will be however He will be.
He has already taught us that Jesus would be called Everlasting Father, God Almighty, Coundelor, Comforter, Prince of Pease………..how many direct teachings on Jesus being the Father, or the Son, or the Holy Ghost do people need.
Do not go by the flesh, but by the All Mighty God's Word through His prophets. It is not for us to understand all in this age. Many mysteries are yet to be revealed, and to deny the words He has given us, taught us, so plainly is a lack of faith.
Do not attmept to believe only by what a mind of man can reason, yu,. I, all must have faith and believe. It is not so complicated.
Now if someone wishes to pronounce on God's Word, that is to contradict Him……..I truly believe it shows no faith.

What you posted ^ fits this verse specifically!!
Before I post it, notice, there is nothing about the triune characteristic of God. It actually reads that the ONE GOD manifests Himself however He so chooses.
1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Interesting, does not say the Son was manifest in the flesh, it clearly states that GOD was manifest in the flesh. And we assumed God in the flesh was preaching specifically to the Jews, but this verse claims it was to the Gentiles.
