"trump lies" this should be a catch phrase
do you have a favorite trump lie?

i think my favorite is the ole "self made man" thing, i believe. this is one of the things that got him elected, and why not, who is not impressed with billionares who started from nothing. if anyone can make the economy strong he can! But did he really start from nothing? no one talks about trumps father and his family. His dad was a billionaire. When his dad died, trump and his brothers and sisters got 400 – 600 MILLION each. And I think there were 4 or 5 kids. And thats just what the kids got, not counting nephews, grand kids and all the rest. Thats one rich family! If trump came from that much money, exactly how hard did this guy really have to work? How many million dollar loans did daddy give to help get him started. And how much risk is involved when your family is that rich?

Self made man, he is about as self made as one of those Saudi princes.

My father wouldn't consider being rich work. If you didn't get your hands dirty or risk injuring you back you didn't have a real job in his view.

Work to him meant labor.

I think your numbers may be a bit inflated, and self made man does not refer to being at the lowest level possible, it only refers to being able to acquire greater wealth from where one starts gained through his own work and investments.

It would not have been possible for him to have gained his present wealth even if he had liquidated and invested all his inheritance in the stocks and bonds all the while living a lavish lifestyle.


According to Multihousing Professional Magazine, Fred Trump and his wife, Mary MacLeod Trump, raised five children, Maryanne, Fred Jr., Elizabeth, Donald and Robert. Each of the Trump children would eventually inherit close to $35 million from their father's apartment empire.

Faireconomy.org on the other hand suggests that Fred Trump’s business success not only provided Donald Trump with a posh youth of private schools and economic security but eventually blessed him with an inheritance worth an estimated $40 million to $200 million.

self made implies one built their fortune themselves without outside help. or in other words the opposite of trump.
i dont think the numbers are inflated. some reprts show trump inherited around 40 million cash plus property worth another 3 - 400 million.
trump admits to getting one small loan from his dad. this "small" loan was one million and that one million back in the early 70s

another odd thing about trump is the fact he hides his tax records from the public. very strange for a president, even the most blatently corrupt presidents at least made their tax returns public. normally the media has a field day with such things but this has all been kept so quite.
and what did trump say about taxes, didnt he say only idiots pay taxes? i guess all us honest working folks are idiots.
