Job's sin was pride, though God called him blameless. His pride comes out throughout the progression of the book and God humbles him. From his humility, God blesses him twice as much. It does not come right out and say that Job's sin is pride, but it is obvious throughout the book.

It is no secret that I actually do not like my church. I believe only about 2 or 3 out of probably like 15 prophets at my church are legit. I get most of my doctrine from ministers like Mark Fox, Joe Schimmel and Derek Prince and digging in the bible on my own.

One of the prophets actually uses "Greater is He in you than who is in the world" on me a lot lol. The legit one.

Nowhere in Scripture is Job described as having the sin of pride and show it as the reason he was allowed to be satanically attacked. Why do so many today follow such unbiblical teachings? Watching a video isn't proof nor should videos supplant Scripture.

Since you have already been shown Scripture to show you that Job was a righteous and God-fearing man, you have no business continuing to insist on a lie about Job. Where did you learn this nonsense, and why do you not believe what is actually stated about righteous Job? You are actually questioning God's assessment of Job, and that is rather presumptuous. Looks like you have been listening to those Hyper-Grace preachers who always make Job out to be the bad guy.

Now Job's friends were a different kettle of fish. They had the mistaken notion (as do many Christians including you) that all those calamities would not have descended on Job had he been truly righteous. Therefore God had to set the record straight, and in fact God asked Job to pray for his friends because they had sinned in making these false accusations (which you are doing right now).

Human nature is pretty nasty, but things that are overly abnormal like ridiculous, spontaneous uncontrollable anger, addictions, etc can sometime come from a demon

Job was actually blameless but God allowed him to be tormented by Satan for a season because Satan accused Job of not really being righteous because he had a hedge around him put there by God. God removed the hedge but not because of Job's pride. I don't believe that there is any mention that Job had pride. His three friends accused him about a bunch of things though, but the thing is, none of them were true. Job remained faithful to God through the entire ordeal.

Ive read through Job a few times and if you read it, though it is not explicitly stated, his sin is pride and it is up to the reader to pick up on it. It's a pretty amazing book.

I read it every now and again because it takes a few tries to really absorb all of the great theological truths in it, but it reads the same every time. You don't pick up on the sin of pride the first time reading through though.

For the last time job did not have a pride issue.....but you seen to.....show me where you get this pride issue thing.

To be prepared is the best way to be. The key is knowledge of the word, absolute belief in God's WORD, and the understanding that the enemy cannot harm you unless you allow him to. The enemy cannot enter your home, vehicle, anywhere you go unless you let him in. I take olive oil and pray over it, then every door I have, I dip the oil on my finger and I touch the top, both sides, and bottom of doorway anointing them in the NAME of Jesus. I anoint every room, the garage, barn(s), animals houses, my vehicles and doors. I walk through my home placing the angels of God everywhere. I am careful what I watch on t.v. and what I view on the internet so I do not give the enemy any chance to creep in.

I never tempt the enemy, but I make sure if the enemy does attack, I am standing my ground with the power of God!!

God called JOB blameless and upright, a man who feared God and turned away from evil JOB 1:1

Satan wanted permission to "sift" Job, destroy his faith. God said go ahead ahd try it knowing JOB's heart and Job stood the test and praised God. Have to say Job's 'friends' weren't a lot of help.

Job is one of my favorite OT books. Oh, I see that you are now a guest so I will end this conversation by saying that nowhere in the book of Job does it imply that he was prideful. It says in the first sentence that he was perfect and upright and later in the first chapter God tells Satan the very same thing. Job's faith in God never wavered despite all of the bad things God allowed just to show Satan that his accusation against Job was unfounded. Like Job says, "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh, blessed be the name of the Lord". That's the moral of the story.
