How bout 1 John 5:14-17
Probably the closest. I'll leave that one open as a possibility...

1 John 5:14-17 NASB
[14] This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. [15] And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. [16] If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask and God will for him give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death; I do not say that he should make request for this. [17] All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.

But it seems to be speaking of a 'brother'.

How bout, acts 10:9-11:14?
I don't see anything there...

Acts 10:9-11,14 NASB
[9] On the next day, as they were on their way and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray. [10] But he became hungry and was desiring to eat; but while they were making preparations, he fell into a trance; [11] and he saw the sky opened up, and an object like a great sheet coming down, lowered by four corners to the ground, [14] But Peter said, "By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean."

We don't know what Peter was praying for.

"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world" (1 John 2:2).
Satan has got to most folks and managed to water down God's plan of salvation. Tradition has taught us that God is battling with the fallen angels for souls. God is not doing that. If He were then He has prophesied His own defeat.

Matt. 7:13 "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:"

There is no place of everlasting torment. Romans 6:23 tells us the wages of sin is death. Death is just death: you cease to be. We do not have an immortal soul as most teach. Those that have partaken of Christ's salvation have God's promise of immortality, but that is still future. God's salvation plan is this:

Heb. 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

Until we learn what this judgment entails, we will never put all the scripture together properly. Spiritually speaking, God is not dealing with most people today. Their whole lives are vain and useless.

Ecc. 1:2 "Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity."
Ecc. 1:14 "I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit."

The Great White Throne Judgment is where most will learn the true way to serve the Lord. That is when the majority of people will be harvested from the earth. This will no doubt draw a lot of fire, but the truth always does. :cool:

I have read in some form of words in the Bible that God does not want any soul to perish…….

All those events are written as ensamples to us, that is to learn from. Specific wars etc are included here. That is a wonderful q2uote you have posted, but it is only truthful if we read all ot wthe Word. Out of context it sounds as though God does not want allsouls to be saved.

Being save our hearts and souls attest to the mercy and grace of God...........

Below is one mention of what i POSTED ON CONCERNING ENSAMPLES.

1Co 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1Co 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
1Co 10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
1Co 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
1Co 10:5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
1Co 10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
1Co 10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
1Co 10:8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
1Co 10:9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
1Co 10:10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
1Co 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
1Co 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Reading the context is what I'm about........and context is that God is telling HIS people not to lift up those outside the faith, unbelievers.

If you read about sinners, and you have learned allt he Word says about them, then you know we are to pray for the sinner but never for the sins for when we do we are participating with the sinner in sin.

I would imagine yu use the Old Testament only when it is convenient to an argumetn, much like the many folks who say the law is destroyed yet come bakc condemning any who sin, knowing they also sin who are pionting the finger.

When I post what our heavenly Father has taught me, it is because it is from Him…..not some notion nor some quote taken out of conntest as you have clained you have not done.

So which is it? are ñyou standing on the Old Testament only or on all of the Bible? If so you will find the Gospel in both books. It is unfortunat e that men who are scholarly took it upon themselves to name the two sections of the Word since the writings make up one Book.

Yes when Jesus prayed for Peter who was going astray. Because satan was sifting him for wheat. He actually told Peter he was praying for him.

See Luke 22:31-32

Also note that Jesus prayed for Peter's conversion.

Also Paul says in Romans 10:1 that he prays for Israel that they may be saved. It is his hearts desire!
