The last time I bought salmon, I said I just wanted a small one.
Trying to sound refined, and educated, I explained that I wanted a "petite" salmon, and the diminutive form of the noun should be salmonella. So I needed one salmonella, and some fresh dill.
The clerk gave me a strange look, and sent me off with my "petite salmon."
After one meal of petite salmon I was sick for 3 weeks.
Word of advice: NEVER EVER BUY THE PETITE SALMON!
