I am truly amazed as are many others on this forum as to why on God's green earth you have not been banned from this beautiful International Conservative Christian forum, completely dumbfounded.

Tic Tock, Tic Tock
This is a Bible Discussion forum TT. I am here to discuss what God's Word actually says, not promote some religious franchise. If you practice religious tradition which can not be supported by the Word of God which became Flesh, then your problem is with God's Word, not me.

If some of God's Word offend you, then your problem is with God's Word, not me.

He is not here to discuss the word (although he said that is this room is for) But his VIEW of what it says, and damn anyone who disagrees

Studyman your attitude toward people who do not believe in your self-righteous man made religion is an exact mirror image of a Pharisee; take a seat Studyman you've earned it.
Jesus was not a Pharisee TT. He did not partake in worthless religious traditions of man. He did not "transgress God's Commandments" by His own traditions. He didn't partake in Pagan High Days. He didn't partake in the practice of creating or furthering images of God after the likeness of fire, fish, men or anything else.

He never taught that the Pharisees were trying to "earn" salvation by following God's Laws. He never taught His New Covenant was the elimination, annulment, or the re-definement of God's Laws.

There is no evidence that any of the examples of Faith He gave us for our admonition practiced such things either.

I don't know how on God's Green Earth you have been convinced that you are free to practice such things when the Christ flatly rejected everyone who did them before you.

I don't believe Jesus was "self righteous", but I believe He was righteous. And I don't believe those who strive to "walk even as He walked" are self righteous either, but that's just me.

i'll go a step farther- I think some are here just to harass and belittle Christians.

I mean. when you have folks who do not believe that Christ was fully God and fully man, we have to keep the Law of Moses, that we do not need to feed and clothe the poor, then those folks are here to harass.

I mean, other than what I just said, if one does not believe these things, all Christian values and beliefs, then why are they here??

You really don't know what your talking about, do you?

How am I defending?

Matthew 7:23
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

You obviously neglect or do not believe Jesus why Jesus accepted the sheep and not the goats.

I don't look for the praise of men for wanting to be like Jesus.
I look for the praise of Jesus for seeking to be like him.

I asked you

To which you responded

Jesus said

Matthew 22:37-40
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

If we fall foul of the second then we fall foul of the first.

After all these 2 sum up the 10 commandments.
The first being 1-4 and the second being 5-10.

Yet you focus on 1-4 at the expense of 5-10.

Just like the Pharisees did as well.

I'm better than this sinner attitude.
You need to be careful because you could be a worker of lawlessness, a goat.

You say

Jesus taught/fed all who came to Him. He didn't go around feeding random poor folks who were saying "shove Jesus up your ###". He said "Come to ME all you that hunger".

He helped them who said "I believe, help me in my unbelief". He came to turn folks away from sin, not make them comfortable in it.

He fed those 5000 who came to Him. He didn't pray to the Father to send food to every random poor person on the planet. He had the power, but He didn't.

There were a lot of poor Jews in His time that He didn't feed. He reminded the Mainstream Preachers of this and they got angry with Him as well.

If you Love God, according to the first and greatest commandments, then you would learn from Him how to Love your Neighbor. But if a man doesn't Love God enough to trust in His Word, then how can this man know how God wants us to love each other?

Of course if you have been convinced you are already saved, already immortal, then these details don't really matter do they.

Jesus had not died yet so no idea how Abel or Cain were Christian or as I prefer disciples of Jesus.
The Bible said He was slain from the foundation of the World. The Bible says Jesus is the Word of God which became Flesh that created all things. And Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I Am."

So who was it that talked to Cain if it wasn't the Christ, the Word of God which became Flesh? And who did Cain and Abel offer sacrifices to if it were not the Christ, the Word which became Flesh? And who was it that created this example of God's Law to "Do not hate your brother without a cause" or to "Love your neighbor as yourself, if it were not the Christ?

1 John 3:
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Matt. 23:
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

If Abel wasn't the disciple of the Christ, then whose Word was he teaching?

Will you set your religious traditions aside and answer these questions? Or will you continue to just defend your religion.

For the word of God to come to you, it is the greatest gift of God- GRACE.

This is why Salvation is a gift, No one merits the Word of God, therefore it is grace, unmerited favor, unmerited gift.

Titus 2:11 (KJV)
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Beautiful.

John 6:
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

You are right; if someone knowingly denies correct doctrine Christ has revealed (Christian values and beliefs) these people will go to Hell for all eternity if they don't repent of their chosen heresy before they die.

We need to live so God can use us any day and any time. This is done by seeking the Lord, praying, studying his word, listening, obeying, and walking in the Spirit with him. I'm not going to be a hypocrite and say that I am perfect and do this all the time, but I do know when I step out of line then I need to repent and get back to business with God. God is merciful and gracious and he wants us to live close to him so that he can use us.

Projection is a popular tactic among folks who are trying to deflect from their own words or actions. Like attacking and insulting folks who don't agree with your religious doctrines, while accusing them of attacking you for the same thing. Very popular in modern political and religious discourse.

Psychology 101.

I asked a Bible discussion question of you recently which your ignored. I'll ask again.

Did the Christ you claim as your own speak these Words?

"And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments."

Shouldn't "Christian" values be the exact same values of the Christ? Shouldn't "Christian" Laws and Traditions be the exact same Laws and Traditions of the Christ?

when God looks on us, should He not see the Christ?

So when did the Jesus of the Bible, the Man, every partake of, promote, create, disseminate images of God in the likeness of man? The truth is He never did. But you promote a religion which does G9.

When did Jesus ever say, suggest, imply, that the Pharisees were trying to "earn" Salvation by following God's Laws? The truth is He never did, yet you and the religion you promote daily on this forum does.

When did Jesus ever partake of man made religious traditions which man placed on Pagan High Days? The truth is He never did, nor would ever do such things. Yet you, and the religion you promote do this all the time.

When did Jesus ever reject His Fathers definition of Holy or Clean? When did Jesus ever reject God's Holy Sabbaths? The truth is He never did, EVER. He would NEVER treat His father this way. Yet you promote this exact thing, and would ridicule and insult anyone who would follow the Christ in this manner.

So I do not belittle "Christians", I simply point out what Jesus has implied since Cain, and that is calling yourself a "Christian" or doing things in His name means nothing if you "practice Lawlessness". This is the truth of the Christ. If this offends you, then it is the Jesus of the Bible that offends you, not me.
