It is strange the transistion from one to two. I just bought flowers that would be in blossom when my boyfriend arrives. And I bought more vegtables than usual. Just five days left now. All I do seems to reflect that. Even marking papers is more fun when the reward is more quality time with him when he arrives.

I pray that this visit is very special and once it is over you will be reunited soon and begin your new life together. Maybe he will enjoy some home cooking prepared by you with love. Not sure what nationality he is or his preference for food but hopefully he will find Norway food to be delectable. Something is going to be cooking in the kitchen, that's for sure. :)

Yeah, well things got a little crazy in the kitchen as my honey was popping in the pizza into the oven. There is nothing like fresh-chopped vegies and various meats on top to get to whet your appetite. Basically, a frozen pizza but with my wife's loving touch. I'm not kidding, her stuff is better than Domino's. Just gave her a little 'hug' of appreciation, a loving touch of my own. The smoke detector did not go off during this episode even though it was hot stuff - the pizza. Maybe it was the pepperoni.

He's just talking about the frozen pizza his wifey made for him lol.
Yeah, the pizza was hot stuff. Actually, she does a very good job dressing up frozen pizzas. She's in the kitchen doing chicken right now. Her brownies she made the other day were exceptional. OK, they were Duncan HInes but they were still pretty yummy.

Disappointed so far that no one seems willing to share even a personal glimpse into how even an ordinary thing shared in a relationship can be an intimate and romantic encounter if your heart is open to that possibility, or if not currently in a relationship you imagine such an encounter happening. Even washing the dishes can be romantic as there are suds involved. Perhaps there is no one who is in a romantic relationship on this site or maybe the honeymoon is over and now the only thing to look forward to is taking out the trash. Even that can be a rewarding experience if that activity is shared with someone that you love. Maybe I'm just looking at things the wrong way, that could very well be because I am no expert on intimate romantic relationships. I did enjoy sharing the pizza that my wife made last night though. It was exceptional.

Sure brother. Having been married for nearly half my life and being single now, scenarios of such future encounters are often dreamed of. I'm human after all and not at all dead yet to such intimacy...probably never will be...I hope! : ) Cooking together, washing dishes together, etc. Chores that may never be completed right then but uh...I wouldn't care! :)

Yeah, the little household chores that are shared together can be very romantic and intimate. I also enjoy grocery shopping with my wife. My favorite is the produce aisle where I can thump a honeydew to see if it is ripe. My wife probably thinks I am crazy at times but in a sweet romantic way no doubt. I am positive that you are not yet dead to such intimacy. Thank you for your contribution to the thread.

I despise grocery shopping with my wife, it takes two times longer than it should. However, unlike most men, I love taking my wife shopping for clothes. Last week I took her to the mall to get a new dress (and accessories) for a formal occasion and I think I enjoyed the evening more than she did.

Going to a mall with the wife can be fun too, especially at the food court. I am glad to see that you enjoy shopping with your wife. Anytime that you can spend a little extra time with your spouse is a very good thing.

Most of the fun that I have had in married life happened in the kitchen. My honey is busy making breakfast right now. Something is sizzling in there, that's for sure. :)
Lol, I find that a lot in the romance novels...or novels that involves a married couple in it. Something special always happens in the kitchen ;) lol
