I want to learn to aron one day and improve my laundry skills as I seemed to have a problem separating the whites. I already have the dishwashing routine down. Switching to Cascade Platinum levels the playing field for the times that you neglect to rinse the dirty dishes properly. I'm all set with taking out the trash too. Now, I take the time to tie a knot in the bag. Just gave my wife a hug too. It's starting to all come together in becoming a better husband. I guess that I'm proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks. My wife is a cat person though but I'm sure that you get my drift. That's another interesting word to ponder as there are still a few wrinkles to iron out.

In the ark was the ten commands, Arrons rod that budded, and manna. Three representations of that which God had against the people (they proved the peoples sin)
Above the ark was the cherub, Once a year, blood was splatters on the covering of the ark, so when the cherub looked down. They could not see the proof of the people sin. It was “covered”
Ie, the things which prove we are sinners is placed into a coffin and burried, Because they are unable to condemn us anymore.

So do you think Joseph was placed in the same kind of aron (coffin) because it was His son's names not His that would be counted? We know God loved Joseph, that he was a man of God, used by Him, in such wonderful ways. Pardon me, I too am thinking outloud, drawing conclusions based on a word "'aron" that perhaps I shouldn't.

Aron בָּאָרֹ֖ון (ba·'a·ro·vn) primarily means chest or ark*, and secondarily means coffin.

Original Word: אָרוֹן
Part of Speech: Noun Masculine

It should be noted that each item placed is the Ark of the Covenant had miraculous life received directly from God. (a)The tablets (or tables) of stone had been written upon by the finger of God, and the Ten Commandments are eternal, (b) imperishable manna was another miraculous item which had rained down from Heaven, and could not spoil within the Ark, and (c) so was Aaron's rod which budded supernaturally to single out Aaron.
On top of that was the Mercy Seat with the golden cherubim, and this was the place where the glory of God (with the appearance of fire) would rest and communicate with Moses. And God is both Life and Light.

Interesting OP so I thought about Noah.
Funny thing, for Noah's ark it is a different word than the one used in the OP. Genesis 6:14
The story of Moses ark uses the same word used for Noah's ark. Exodus 2:3
It is only used concerning the two arks aforementioned and nowhere else in Scripture.
The word is tebah for the above.

Interestingly the Ark contains two elements that make it perfect or complete. One that seen and other that not seen.
Sort of like the unseen mutual work of the faith of the father and Son of man, Jesus working as a labor of their love Like in Isiah 53 two working together to bring us the peace of God that surpasses our understandings. One seen the other not seen
Jesus as that seen relying on the unseen father described as the spiritual food needed to perform the spiritual work. The kind of food of doing the will of another that the disciples knew not of at first.
Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, (unseen) cometh unto me ( Seen).John 6:43-45
